OK folks - what do you want? I've had a couple of people say they won't be able to make both/Blackpool, but would come on the official meet.

Who still wants an OS meet in November?

Who wants to go to the official MSE meet and can't afford the time/money to go to both?

Who wants a rearranged OS meet sometime next year (early spring perhaps?)

I'm easy either way (as they say :D) I'll carry on with the November meet if that's what the majority want, but if it's going to be within a couple of weeks of the official MSE meet, I don't want to ruin the chance for people to go to that if they can only get to one of them and end up as Billy-no-mates in a cheap B&B looking like Eleanor Rigby :D

I'm not trying to be a killjoy - and I would attend both! but... the one in York had loads of people saying how they would go but only 4 of us turned up in the end. Given it's near xmas whichever month it is and also people's limited time/money I would say forget it until Feb at least. How many definite people have you got? If none, then I would really suggest leaving it!

I have had 15-20 people (including a few partners) saying they will be attending, which enough to have a good time, but I thought I'd give people the option now of saying they want to go to the official meet and would come to an OS meet next year, rather than have a half hearted affair now :)

However, if all OSers who want to go are still up for a meet, regardless of the official one, then let's party on :D

Ryanair fly Stansted to Blackpool if that's any help, and recently had flights for £0.01 each way, making a return journey approx £25 with taxes :)

Does that include the trip TO Stansted?

    Hi all

Thank you Curry Queen, Ticklemouse and all who answered my thread!

Hey this is really exciting, I need to check my diary but it sounds like a great idea - I am so glad I did not mis-read it (shows I am not totally senile yet, then hehee).

Hi Lilibet, hows life with Spud? I am sure you are doing a great job of mummyying OS! I echo Bargain Rzl in saying that SPUD MUST COME to the meet - good intro to OS for him, too!

Fran, if I come I'll bring a guitar, make sure you got the fiddle!

Ok all, will let you know how it goes once I have read the official thread

    Love and hugs

    Caterina

    Bump!

I would love to go to both, but will only go to the big MSE one if it is in London.

    Looking forward to more news!

Hi Sarahsaver, good to see you again!
