    Morning All

Mrs Mix - your DS' school is shut today for nursery, reception and years 1 & 2. The rest of the school is open.

Well today's the day. I complete on my first ever flat. I pick up the keys later and of course everyone wants a tour. Not moving in straight away as I need to do some decorating first - not to mention buy furniture. So from now on I will be constantly broke thanks to having a mortgage!

Thanks Scuzz thats the infant school then dd is in year 3 so guess I still have to go on the school run:rolleyes:
on the subject of furniture there is a shop NEW TO YOU in Pevensey Road I think it's to do with the salvation army that does it quite cheap one of my friends got a brand new 3 piece suite for £80.00 might be worth a look

    Morning

    :bdaycake: Chardonnay & Metherer

Congratulations on the new flat Scuzz, you deserve it

Well, taking almost DIL to look at three pieces this morning, must not be tempted - I would love a new one, but until I can stop the dog getting onto it, there's no point

Got some steak for DH tonight, I will have chow main made with Quorn in a desparate attempt to compensate for the crips last night :o Why is it that the nice things are all fattening ?

    Will catch up later x

    Morning all

Hugs to Mrs Mix, PP, Candygirl & Smokey.

Happy b'day to Metherer & Chardonay.

I managed to stay awake till the end of Ashes to Ashes, so I did very well, either Katy slept last night or I slept through her perambulations.

Whatatwit, Katy is leaving me in July, so I don't know how she is going to live, but it certainly isn't on me.

TFI Friday, lets hope today is a bit more normal at school, it was like something out of Loonytunes yesterday.

Churchie & Haribo, don't get too hot & sweaty in your PVC outfits.

    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Hester, you can't just throw a comment like that in without an explanation. Have they taken up a new part time career ;)

Jockett, I have one of those crisp makers, but judging by my attempts so far, Walkers have nothing to worry about :D

Morning all - bit of a rush this morning!

Happy Birthday to CHARDONNAY, METHERER and I'm pretty sure it's REDRUBY's birthday today, too! :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake:

PENPIN - hope you have a good day.

SMOKY - thoughts and prayers with you.

(((HUGS))) to MRS MIX and CANDYGIRL

    CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:

Well, paperwork, paperwork - I'm drowning in it. I have to sort loads of it out today, do the wages for DH's sub-contractors, pay some bills, update diaries and write letters. I am determined to get to the gym today, although this week everything seems to have conspired against it.

I also need to give the house a going-over - it's in desperate need having been more or less neglected for the whole week. I shall get that done first.

I have just read the end of yesterday's thread - those of you who were still on it are thoroughly barmy!! It gave me a great laugh. I have to 'fess up to being one of the BM lovers. I've been in love with mine since the day I first saw it; I'm the same with my WM having spent years washing clothes by hand, then in a temperamental twin-tub, I still can't get over the wonder that is the AUTOMATIC washing machine!

I've only read the thread at megamiles per hour so I haven't really caught up properly with everyone's news - will try to later. (((Hugs))) to all in need.

Anyway, I must get a wiggle on - I just know today is going to run away with me again. And it's pouring with rain!

    Will call in later.
