OS Friday 7th March 2008

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 7th March 2008. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning Guys

I have been to bed but needed some pain killers and cant get back to sleep now:rolleyes:

Cant remember the last time I started the daily thread:confused:

Smokey-Hope you have some better news soon
Mrs Mix-Hugs & kisses!

Have a washload to put on later and the DW was emptied last night, so not much to do today. Am hoping OH can take me out somewhere as Im bored looking at the same walls all the time.

Anyway, I hope you all have a great day and hugs to everyone!

    Hello Possums,

    Happy Birthday Chardonnay_party_

Well DGS has just gone down for his arv nap. Peace reins in the Aussie household. :D Bread is cooking in the oven & I'll bring in the washing shortly. We made some bunny ears this morning and went down for a walk to the water. It was high tide so that was nice. Not really a lot planned this arv. Hope you all get back to sleep.

    Morning All

Mrs Mix - your DS' school is shut today for nursery, reception and years 1 & 2. The rest of the school is open.

Well today's the day. I complete on my first ever flat. I pick up the keys later and of course everyone wants a tour. Not moving in straight away as I need to do some decorating first - not to mention buy furniture. So from now on I will be constantly broke thanks to having a mortgage!

Have been saving coupons ready for moving in to make life a little bit easier. And of course will continue to hunt the freebies forum for any little finds.

My sister's really jealous as she's never lived alone and always wanted too. I'm the first person in my family to live alone come to think of it.

Well no other plans for today. Booked (free) tickets to the theatre next week, might take up the other tickets I can claim too actually. Why not:confused: :rotfl:

    Hope everyone's ok
