Evening all - just having my free tea (pasta, toms, herbs, mushrooms, onions)!
Went out for a meal with OH on Weds - had smoked salmon and eggs for starter in a pastry case which I gave to OH and then turkey dinner - gave OH the roasties, stuffing, roast parsnips and pigs in blankets and didnt have a pud and drank diet coke - OH was shell shocked as only 2 months ago Id have fought to the death for my roasties and all of a sudden Im giving them away - and the weird thing was I didnt feel like I was missing out.

I know this is a funny queastion but does anyone know if you can get chicken livers from tescos or saisburys or if it would be best to go to the butchers?
I got mine from Tesco, and usually use theirs and they make great pate. My local butchers always runs out of chicken livers close to xmas. I have also used Tescos frozen ones and they were also great for pate. hth:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
LouiseJ - I'm doing the same. I will eat what I want to eat of 'cooked food' i.e. Xmas dinner, but just be a bit more cautious with the nibbles/crisps/chocs. I won't be counting anything, but I'll be back on it on the 27th. Doing the same as Xmas Day on Boxing day as going to FIL's and I've no idea what BIL will be cooking!0

Morning everyone
I am planning on walking to my local library this morning. There and back should take me about 1 hour. I might have a walk this afternoon as well as there will be no opportunity for a walk tomorrow. other than perhaps a ten min walk at lunchtime.
On the subject of walking, and Judders you might be able to answer this - are you working towards your body magic awards and how on earth do you complete a fit log? According to the fit log, as I walked for just over 55 minutes yesterday, this amounts to 11 units of 5 mins towards my bronze award? I dont understand it though and am none the wiser for reading the little body magic booklet or reading up on the SW site. Its my intention to do lots of walking over xmas but when Im at work during the week in the New Year, i would only be able to walk for say 20 mins in the evening with at least an hour long walk at the weekend.
whilst on the subject of walking, I have an update on my walk yesterday! my pedometer recorded more information than I thought including the fact that I walked 4.09 km, burnt 207 calories, walked for 57.06 minutes which amounted to 6832 steps.
menu plan for today as follows: -
Early breakfast 2 cups of tea (milk from HEA) hi fi bar (heb)
late breakfast option if I fancy it - french toast made with cinamon/nutmeg and sultanas (will have to be synned - its something like 28g for 4 syns so 1 syns worth) served with mixed red fruit and total total 0% yogurt (Free)
Lunch - jacket chips, eggs and HEB of ham
or Jacket potato and tuna pouch (28g cheese HEA)
Tea asda curry (its my sisters birthday)
Will skip on the birthday cake and probably have a glass of wine so will more than likely be over my syns today but dont intend to have any naan bread or poppadums with the curry just lots of rice say and a couple of spoon fulls of curry.
hoping my walk later with counteract it
snacks clementines / bananas / melon
menu for tomorrow.
Breakfast - Hi fi bar / melon
tea (milk from HEA)
Lunch tin of tesco ravioli (free)
28g cheese HEA
bread (HEB)
Snacks - clementines / bananas
Tea - Slimming world xmas party (carvery) so lots of meat, lots of veg, one or two spuds, one or two yorkshires (synned!!) starter is melon and mandarine or something like that and pudding is pavlova and fruit and clotted cream (will try to ignore the cream)
again likely to be over my syns but wont be drinking too much (one or two vodka and slimline tonics sounds good) and will try and have a long walk on wednesday to make up for it!!!
im enjoying this walking lark ! thanks judders0 -

What a good idea, I think I'll do the same, then I can relax but not totally lose the plot, it's taken me so long to start losing that I'll be gutted if I gain!
We're not buying much in the way of nibbles, between me and OH at SW, health-conscious teenagers, and my mum who will probably bring choccies and stuff from my extended family when she comes to stay, it's best if OH and I just buy nice fruits, cheeses, and other more nutritious food.
I've had a bad weekend, haven't stuck to plan very well, so doing damage limitaion between now and Tuesday, today I'm having:
B: shape yoghurt (free)
L: Ryvitas with herby quark (HEB and free)Chicken stir fry with rice (HEB and free)
Snacks will be fruit and drinks water, tea, and coffee with milk (HEA)
Have a good day everyone,
Jay xxAnytime;)0 -
I quite agree about having xmas day off plan,it is a 'holiday' after all!
I will be having a cuppa at the in laws in the morn, will probably have smoked fish and eggs before we go.We are having our dinner at my mum's which we be huge but quite traditional so not too bad syn wise, meat, loads of plain veg, roasties and gravy. My mum always makes tons of petite fours and lovely cakes but as I don't have a big sweet tooth,I never have much anyway. Will probably feel the need for plenty of fizzy wine though!!!!Back at home for supper, probably cold meat, cheese, crackers and pickles.
Boxing day will be a normal day for me,as is the rest of the festive season.I am not a fan of xmas,I'm afraid:rolleyes:
Don't even know what I'm doing New Year's Eve,last year we stayed in with steak and a bottle of wine.
And from New Year's Day onwards I will be packing like a mad thing as we move house on the 3rd of Jan!:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil, like women....;):D:p

Weekly weigh in - happy to report a 1.5 lb loss this week so very pleased with myself. Will try and have one more good week this week before allowing a few Christmas goodies to start creeping in! I was only going to have treats on Xmas day but then I thought I should start slow and work my way up to grand feast:rotfl::rotfl:!
