I saw earlier someone wanted some soup ideas that are free on both days.
Carrot & Coriander Soup:
8-10 carrots - chopped
1 pint of chicken bovril stock
onion - chopped
garlic - chopped
coriander (either fresh or dried)
use a little frylight to cook off the onion and garlic, add the carrots stir for a few minutes and then add the bovil stock. Cook until carrots are soft. Blend and then add salt, pepper and coriander to taste.
Also you can do a butternut squash soup. Just change the carrots for a butternut squash that you've peeled, deseeded and cubed.
Depends on how thick or runny you want the soup then you may want to add some more chicken stock, as the pint makes a thick soup.
Good luck everyone with the plan. So far I've lost just under 5½ stone since April 08 but still have about a stone to go until target.
In spite of the cost of living, it’s still popular :eek:0 -
Today started out well.
Brekkie - Oatso simple (HEb, HEa)
Lunch - Egg on toast (HEb) Satsumas, Grapes.
Snack....this is where it went wrong 2 X SNICKERS...Why did I have them??
I will probably have a Jacket potato tonight with cheese, onion and beans on (HEa)
I am hoping the amount of walking I have done today will counteract the snickers, I have done about 2hrs 15mins altogether of brisk walking.

Lobush what a lovely post hun. Very inspiring, good luck on that pesky 1lb.
Jolene sorry to hear your feeling so rubbish hun.
Rob, sorry if I sounded abrupt, I know you want to see the weight come off but honestly if it comes of at 1 or 2lb a week it is much more likely to stay off than if you lose loads really quickly. I know I was the same as you I lost 1 stone 4 since the 10th of November and even though I knew my weight wouldn't keep dropping at that rate it doesn't stop you hoping for it to and dreading the disappointment of just 1lb. I lost 1lb last week and to be truthful its not as bad as I thought it would be because if you think about it by now you have lost all the retained water weight and that pound or 3 or 4 or in my case 1, is fat. So don't be put off by only losing 1lb a week, have a look at the blobs of fat on the table at your meeting and think about how much you have lost and how many of those you have actually got rid of.
Well done to all the losers and maintainers and even the putter onersYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
