    Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between following SW when pregnant or not because I heard you can still follow the plan when preggers (although no-one can tell me how) and we are trying for a baby. I think the plan is amazing and I am eating so much more healthy than I was before so would be keen to continue if I do get my wish.

    thanks in advance

as far as i can remember when i was pregnant you follow the plan as normal but obviously taking care while eating shellfish and raw eggs, but once you have had the baby if you breast feed then you up your healthy extras..

eveie - I think you get an extra HEa. 'Eating for two' is a myth - in pregnancy you just need your normal intake of calories, but in the last trimester you need an extra 400 calories a day. SW require a midwifes letter to confirm its ok to carry on with it - I think you should talk to yours to make sure she has no concerns.

  • Hi
I joined sw on oct 3rd but because my appendix decided to rupture I havn't been to class since as I have been recovering and not been able to drive.

I am going tomorrow am and am a bit confused.

After reading the book and trying to get my head around it, I just dont think I can do it..theres just not enough b's!!!

The last 6weeks I have had to have small meals and often with protein shakes to help me heal so have not folloed the plan so I am starting tomorrow properly.

I normally have porridge, love porridge so much so dont want to change that really. At lunch I had an egg sandwich but then for tea we had meat spag bol.....so i have had 3bs!!! I just can't figure out how I am going to be able to eat the things we as a family like (like spag bol, lasagne, shep pie etc) without having too many bs........ I have tried the quorn mince and its puke!

Im not a big fan of jacket potatoes, baked beans or salad so dunno what i am going to eat!

Please help, I have alot of weight to lose and want to get it right this time x
