    Judderman, I think i'd go for the fish shop option as marion has said too or the chinese take away but have it with boiled rice instead? Your chicken could be a HEB and then the syns are the other oils etc in the curry?

    I must admit i do sometimes eat something like this as a treat after i've had my weigh in night. I think it's ok to have a treat every now and again as long as you try to choose the better option and get back on the wagon the day after. If I do this I try to keep my syn use low for the rest of the week too.

    Edited to add - stay away from the pizza though LOL..

    thanks for that - yes I tend to do the same - though I want to try being a bit more organised and not do this on weigh in night and save it for when I have a rough day on the whole, I think keeping a WW ready meal or two in stock might be an idea too.

    thanks all :beer::beer:

  • Mornin all :hello:

    anyone else any answers on the below ? especially peeps who have been doing SW for some time and know it inside out .

    thnaks very much in advance

    Judders
    xx

    I'm in two minds on this one - the fish and chips (stand back from the mffin!!) would be my personal choice - kinda does everything I need for a i've-had-a-bad-week-and-need-a-treat feeling, I leave the lowest skin, so only having half the batter, and would count as grren and B's (but know that I was cheating the system)

    However - I wonder whether the ready meal option
    A ready meal - most often - Tesco Taste the difference (or whatever their posh/expensive versions are called) Red Thai Chicken Curry with Egg fried rice
    would be 'better' as it is likely to be a more sensible portion size - especially if you had it with plain rice??......

    I did well this week - had some baked bean lasagne I had put in the freezer and some SW chips I'd patr boiled night before - I popped the chips in the oven before I set off for weigh in and when I got in - I whacked the lasagne in the oven and added the chips for last 6/7 mins just to re heat them :j:j:T:T

    hmmm my thoughts on that one are that thai food does use a lot of coconut and as such is quite high in fat content - next time I have one (been good not had one for ages) - I must use the syn calculator to check how bad it is
