Am I missing something major here?

Just reading the SW mag at the meal plan and I noticed that when on red days the snacks were ham/beef etc so does that mean that you can snack on meat if you should wish on a red day.

Yes - Red days mean free unlimited unadulterated meat (as long as its not covered in sauces!) (Most sausages are synned because they've been 'made' if you see what I mean.
    Green days mean free pasta/rice/potato's.

The theory on both days is you fill up on 'free' foods when you're hungry.

I am going to try a new recipe tonight.
From Nov/Dec 08 SW Mag. P 47 Cheesy Broccoli and Potato Bake.
It looks really nice. There are some great recipes in here,

Going to try the Creamed Carrot & Beetroot soup over the weekend and also the Rogan Josh sometime.

I prefer all the savoury recipes to the sweet to be honest. I am quite happy with yoghourts, fruit and the occasional meringue. I quite often make the SW mousses and things with quark and jelly.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Thanks skint-catt thats brilliant. I was a bit in WW mode whereby you can only eat your meat at meal times.

Brilliant will get some crabsticks in for munching on later.

Let us know how you get on. I like the look of that bake.

I am making the beef goulash and chicken chassur from there for this weekend. Seems simple enough for a novice cook like me!

Hope you have a nice weekend too
