I lost 1.5lb in my first week too - I think it is easy to look around and see some 'huge' losses and expect the same - I certainly did :o

For what it's worth, 1.5lb is a really good loss in a week, and I hope that somewhere you are feeling really proud of yourself for making the decision to start, and stick with SW.

Although my journey has been slow, I have lost 1 stone 5.5 lb to date, and little and often, the weight comes off - This diet *does* work, and it provides a really healthy long term way of eating.

I hope you don't feel too disheartened, we are here to support you, if you need any help, advice, or just a group of people to talk to.

    You have done really well.
  • well done p00!! That's a great start. It's a lot better to have the weight come off slowly on an eating plan that's meant for life than to lose it fast on a crash diet just to gain it again because you start to eat "normally" again.
    You will get there :T

  • Would I be right in thinking that it is far better to have a small loss as that is fat, a big loss is water as well?

I wished on them, but they were only satellites

  • Well done p00 a loss is still a lost aint it hun :)

Well don Reddeb im sure you wont find it that hard keeping it off are you still going to live like your on SW or are you going back to naughty food??

SW is a change in lifestyle not really a diet. Things taste so much better the SW way!

Brokemumofthree, I'm glad you've found this thread you really need to stick to it hun apart from 5lbs weight loss you have also lost £72 in going to SW and not sticking to it. Good luck!
