I did a green day yesterday and used 3 syns and a red day today and used 2 syns and they were both on a Highlight drink (+ 1 tsb spread) to satisfy the choccy needs.
Cant fit all the food in and had a problem choosing a second HE today so ended up with a bit of pasta which I only ate 1/2 of.
It helped that I made a big pan of soup with free veg though.
Made a cream sauce with Quark and wasnt impressed so any ideas on a free hot white sauce for chicken please.

Anyway just to let you know Boots are doing Slimfast on 342 at the moment and if you join the Health Club you get half price on the smoothies, making them 45p each?
Just thought id let you know as im usually found on the Boots thread and someone mentioned this. I believe you can get this offer on Boots.com too.

Hi
this is my first time posting on here. I am going to start SW tomorrow and have everything I need but I bought some tesco light choices reduced fat pork sausages. They are chilled and it is an 8 pack weighing 454g.
2 sausages contains 165 cals, 1.7g sugar, 4.9g fat, 1.9g saturated fat. Does anyone know what the syns would be on a red day??
Thanks

I think 15 syns equates to 300 calories so your sausages would be maybe 8 syns for two? please correct me if I'm wrongThey have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

if i were you i wouldnt try and work out the syn value of foods this way, you are going to end up missing out on loads of food if you do. the sausages in question were 1 syn each on red day so thats a saving of 3 syns per sausage.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -

Does anyone know how many syns are in a Whisper bar? I dont have access to the website and its no listed in the food optimising book, thanks.
Also I love Mullerlight yoghurts but cant justify the expense of them at the moment, can you substitute them with other low fat yoghurts like Tescos own ones? They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

I think it is important to try and eat all your healthy extras so you keep a balanced diet, ie still getting calcium, protein, fibre etc. However i must admit some days I dont manage it, but this is only one day out of 7 so I dont bother too much. But I do feel that by eating all my Healthy extras and eating all my alowed syns within the week I dont feel like im missing out and im still happy with my weight loss, ive heard of people trying not to eat any syns at all and they feel deprived but think they will lose more weight, but they still lose the same as everyone else, in fact the consulatant used to tell them to eat more!:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
