Is there anyone that does Success Express on a regular basis? There's a lady on the new forum I joined (for Slimfast) who does SW and does SE several days a week - she's lost half a stone every three weeks since April! Amazing! I think when I get back to SW I should try and get my head around it! Will go back and read Consultants post.

One of our members is 3 or 4 pounds short of losing eight stone.
She finds the success express thing works well for her and when she has followed this for a few days in any particular week her loss has been really good.
We had a stand in consultant back in the summer who really motivated us and explained success express really well. She had a huge (cardboard) plate which she had marked according to the one third free food and two thirds superfree. Ive kind of been tempted to go to one of those places where you can put your own design on a plate and mark it up with the one third / two thirds split.
Ive never done it but having lost three weeks running then stayed the same and then put on two weeks running, I need to do something so might consider giving this a go this week.
I think the trick is not to pile height wise because even if the food is on the plate within your one third section but 10 centimetres high, thats defeating the object!!!!! Let me know how you get on with it and I will let you know how i get on if I try it. hope we will still see you on the forum even though you are trying slim fast.0 -
I will probably try it when I get back to SW after Xmas but good luck if you do try - sounds like it works! Still trying to up my exercise (started today) though I'm not finding SF too hard to stick to for now - I've completely lost interest in food now I don't have to plan breakfast and lunch, though I still look forward to my dinner - Quorn meatballs and spaghetti tonight :j0

I keep meaning to try S.E. but never quite get my head around it! We had the area manager in a while back and she made it sound SUCH a good idea and was really enthusiastic. Our usual consultant is friendly and cheerful but I find that I need someone brimming with enthusiasm to motivate me.
Also we have several people who attend and complain that they haven't lost weight and then run on about how many nights they've been out boozing and how much they enjoyed their fish & Chips etc. Now I don't care that they come and are very half-hearted about it and waste their money but I DO care that it has quite a negative effect on me and several others. Other weeks they come and say "Wow I've lost 3 lbs yet I've eaten all the wrong things this week." They are like trying to cheat the plan somehow and it gets on my nerves. There used to be loads of us who stayed behind every week for the "talk" after WI but more and more weigh in and go home.
I am sure I sound a real Moaning Minnie but the class is definitely dwindling because once people don't stay for the talk, as the weeks go by they think that it's a waste of time and money paying to just go and stand on the scales. I keep think the consultant will "twig" what's going on but she never seems to.
I have missed a couple of weeks due to illness but am going for WI tonight and hoping I haven't gained. Progress has been slow of late but I stick to the plan and eat well and I still feel really healthy. Oh well, we'll see!;)0
