angie_loves_veg wrote: »Hi all,
welcome newbies , and **welcome back Kelly** :j we had to give you a chance to live 'the other way'.... but glad you are back
I was a bit pleased tonight as I lost 1 and 1/2 lb  I think that my fast forward week started it moving for me again. I am still increasing my vegies by at least 1 portion per meal, three meals a dayand I wonder if this has made the difference ?? Anyway, who cares why, but it is working for me.
Shocking news  is that as it is weigh in night, I am "helping" hubby finish a piece of chocolate fudge sponge layer pudding thingy from the fridge... it is better gone, and at least at the beginning of the week it should do less damage
have a great week y'all :j
hmmmmmmm confesion time? chocolate sponge you say?! Ive just eaten sticky toffee pudding and banana custard. one pudding was 25 syns :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: but once I had eaten half of it, i chucked it in the bin even though I knew I could probably have eaten the lot! My tea also went a bit pear shaped as instead of my planned new covent garden soup, my OH put on for me, chips, onion rings and thai chicken x 2. I also had tiger bread although I didnt eat all my chips etc- just dont enjoy them anymore (but seem to think I will for some mad reason until I start eating it) Ive also eaten tiger bread so syn syn syn (not including the large glass of wine I poured) so confession time over and I feel very ashamed at typing this but I have weighed in and I am aiming to have a fab week with all my veggies so know after today that I will be very good, keeping to my 10 syns a day and eating lots of superfree food.0 -

Hi guys, sorry I've not been about much, but work is mad at the moment. I've also joined a singing group and picked up my genealogy research again, so I've been pretty busy. I've FINALLY managed to find a death certificate I've been looking for on and off for 15 years (do you have any idea how many John McDonalds die in Scotland every year!!) so I have renewed enthusiasm for it again.
It's my WI tomorrow morning, so I'll pop in with that and then try to be a bit more regular on here again.0 -
Got the new mag, opened it but haven't read a word yet! :j0

one of the recipes in the new SW mag is for lamb shanks. where can I buy lambs shanks ? is it something my local butcher does? whenever ive looked online with Mr T, they have always been pre-prepared in some kind of sauce or are frozen with a sauce and therefore have to be synned.0

LOL, going to scan the cover of the mag and post it to the fridge:
"Cover star Claire (my real name) lost 3stone 2lb (my weight to go pretty much) New Look, New Man, New Me!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Getting my new look (hair) next week - wonder how long it'll take the rest0 -
thank you angie loves veg

we had a laugh at class tonight, our consultant (an 'older' lady who is really lovely and friendly, but never shocking) has just got back from holiday and (clearly feeling frisky!) amongst other things reminded us that sex was great body magic (as she put an ''anklet'' on the raffle table saying it could be an anklet or dangled on something else      )so confession time over and I feel very ashamed at typing this but I have weighed in and I am aiming to have a fab week with all my veggies so know after today that I will be very good, keeping to my 10 syns a day and eating lots of superfree food.
anyhoo - she was mimicing another consultant, and in a (very essex) voice was telling us to 'Start each day the SW way, you might balls it up by lunch, but start the next day the SW way. The next day you might balls it up by tea, but if you start your day the SW way, you will get to the third day and start to lose weight, because you will notice you didn't balls it up at all.'
So maybe that's it. We are all human. We *do* balls it up sometimes, but if we wake up with good intentions, then tomorrow could be the SW day for us...:cool:0
