hi skint_catt! Well, its a total over-haul of my diet!and i have a fair bit to lose. I just feel "thinner" already, but im scared that its just my imagination! lol0

No, often you will feel trousers are looser etc. Sometimes even if you maintain in class (not likely on first week) you've lost inches, so its all good really!

hi everyone
sorry i haven't been around much,but been so busy.i went on hols to cyprus lovely and hot so that helped me cos i didn't eat much,but made up for it for drinking.Then when i got home its was my son's 21st,so i did the catering for the party didn't eat much but you guess it had loads to drink.lost count on syns but had a great time.
so back on the sw plan today going to be 100% from now on so far i've been on the plan for 4 weeks and lost 3lbs so far which is a bit dissapointing cos everyone seens to be doing so well
so i'll update you how i'm getting on next week and good luck to all of you in your weigh ins this week i know your all winners:jjoined sw on 22/10/08lost 3 stonere-joined 8/1/12need to lose 2 stones:eek:4lbs:j0 -
What part of Cyprus did you go? Ive just come back from Nissi Beach and it was lovely. Im afraid I did overeat though - I always do on holiday.:rolleyes: Got to get on with the SW plan now Im back.0

Just called into Asda and they have mullerlights 5 for £1. As I have only just started SW these have been a life saver for desert.
Weigh-in on Wednesday for the end of my first week.I won't make any predictions, but hope I've at least lost some!

So night before WI and I've synned and gone well over.
It seems to me (and feel free to ignore me if I'm butting in) that if you bulked up your meals with free food, you may find you would not be so tempted to syn during the day.
For instance, try cooking some couscous or rice to mix in with (and bulk up) your yoghurt and fruit salad for breakfast. This would hopefully keep you feeling full till having a nice big lunch of say, a bowl of syn-free soup (pm me for some recipes if you want them), followed by a jacket potato with pasta 'n' sauce piled on top. Your dinner is fine (make sure you have loads of potatoes and veg) and you can still have the wine during the evening and stay within your syn allowance.
Don't be afraid of free foods - eat until you're full, it's often a false economy not to.

well its count down to weigh in and I almost feel as nervous as the first night i went back and ive been going over a year!
my scales are pretty accurate compared to the SW ones so having weighed myself at various times today, it looks like i have lost
thank you for your all support this week, if it hadnt been for this site, i think my friday binge would have lasted until tonight!!0 -

I went last night and lost 1/2 lb - Bit annoying as I have been to the gym more but maybe that will show next week??Still new to forums - Scarey!!

we were in kyrenia which is in the turkish bit of n cyprus touristium is still quite new there and still unspoilt.we went to the local turkish cafe for our dinner really cheap and after your doner the owner would just pick grapes from his vines or give us some water melon delicious it was the free raki that did me in loljoined sw on 22/10/08lost 3 stonere-joined 8/1/12need to lose 2 stones:eek:4lbs:j0
