  • Skin-catt have you measured yourself? My consultant says you can lose inches but not necessarily lose weight

Thanks peachyest, I would say the same to anyone esle but I've been sooo good for weeks and lots n lots of exercise that I've never done before I just expected one week at some point for it to fall off me. I've even given up drinking to help

TG - not for a while, though I'm starting to be unable to wear most of my work trousers so yes I believe I'm losing inches which I'm more than happy about! ;) I'm doing yoga on the Wii Fit and its making me feel leaner (whether I look it is another thing). Just frustrated when it comes to the numbers!

Did you get your Wii Fit TG?

Yes! It came on Friday afternoon. Some of my friends are soooo jealous because they've been trying to get one for months but everywhere is out of stock. I just went online to game.co.uk on Tuesday evening and ordered the Wii itself and the Wii fit and both were in stock!!

I love it. I've never really done regular exercise, so I find the Yoga and stretching difficult but I am perservering. I really enjoy the Steps, and also the Boxing (although my arms ache like hell!!!) I've done an hour a day so far :T :T :j :j

My 7-year-old-daughter loves it. I struggled with the 3-minute run, she does the 12 minute one and then says she's going to do it again!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Try and use all or most of your syns if you can, maybe try it this week and see if you lose.

Sorry to say I had my first weigh in at Tesco today (after speed school!) and lost 7lbs! Fan bloody tastic, next week should see me into the next stone bracket.

tiff - the thing is I usually do - its just I overdid it on Wednesday so I cut back for a few days (to make 15 per day) then there was nowt availble at the weekend so I just didn't use them. I'm always careful on Monday and Tuesdays re eating - its a kind of ritual now until my WI Tuesday eve. Will give it another go though!

TG - persevere with the Yoga - you do get better at it (and have off days!). Love the boxing (easy one!) but can't get to grips with the steps in the next stage up but even 3min makes you sweat! Don't do jogging much as I'm 'big on top' as per Kellys name ;) and don't have a sports bra at the mo. Loving the Free Step as you can watch DVD's or the TV so it goes much quicker!
  • Just a heads up - In the asda mag it says that Batchelors Super Noodles & Rice will be 5 for £1 from 9-29th Sep and Batchelors Pasta and Sauce will be 5 for £1 from 30th Sep to 20th Oct!!

Just to say that I won't be online much this week and not at all next week. Im off on holiday to Cyprus on Saturday so Im having a busy (and stressful!) week getting ready (I haven't been able to follow the SW plan as Im a bit excited and het up about the holiday). This will be the first time OH and I have holidayed alone since 1987! Daughters are 21 and 18 and so should cope fine but its still a worry.

When I come back though I shall be following the plan with a vengeance and will need all the help I can get. Good luck to everyone who is on the plan! (Im hoping not to put on too much weight whilst Im away and am taking trainers because we plan to do a bit of walking!)
