yeah cheese is def a difficult one, i love it and use it with almost everything
i take it morrissons sausages are meat free to be syn free as the lowest syn sausages, the less than 5% fat ones are 1/2-1 syn.

I love my mince, am big on chillis etc just now and loving chickpeas, lentils and kidney beans for bulking them out (chickpeas are wonderful in curry as well)

No Morrisons Eat Smart Pork Sausages (chilled not frozen) are free and very tasty!

I love quorn mince (though its costly when not on offer) - then you can have free chilli with unlimited rice (and quorn pieces make a great free curry). Have had chickpeas in the cupboard for ages but not used them yet - same for red lentils, though I might make lentil dahl on Sunday when OH's out to try it. Got loads of veg in too to make some HM pasta sauces.

Thanks kelly, peachy and biscotte! Well done to everyone else who has lost. See Skint Catt, all that worrying for nothing!! Mind you, im the same. I hardly eat anything on a Monday leading up to WI, just cereal and fruit normally!! I bet everyone is the same really.

the things I do to make my SW purse go further, is -

I add plain pasta to a pasta and sauce, which makes double quantity, then I have one lot for my tea and put the rest in a tub and have for my lunch at work the day after, you just need to put a bit extra water in, but it goes a long long way.

I always look for what is on offer and where, im not loyal to any supermarkets, its basically wherever its cheapest!! Netto at the moment has Less than 1 Cal oil spray (like Fry Light) but its only 99p, and free just the same!

The other thing is we have a great market stall in barnsley that sells a big tray of chicken breasts for £4.99. You easily get 8 chicken breasts for this money, and I seperate them and put them in the freezer like that, then when I need one im not splitting a pack and cooking them right away.
You're so very special, I wish I was special

wow, i thought i did well getting ones for 1/2 a syn, and morrissons have 10 for £2 on mullerlight, just wish i had a morrisons within walking distance
    argh!!
i love chickpeas, lentils are ace at bulking things out as well... did make the mistake of sending oh to do groceries and he got yellow lentils instead which need soaking whichh annoys me because i am usually in the middle of a dish and realise that i can bulk it out with x y and z ingredients and i need to constantly soak more or less so they are on stand by
