ooh, I think you are doing green here, but can't be sure.
May I suggest you have a look on the website, try using the food diary facility for a few days - it will help you structure all your food and snacks. Will separate A's and B's, and will give you the syns for everything.....
I shall do a few of the syns for you (the ones I know!) in a later editdone
So, it would appear that Sunday was better than Saturday!
You might like to try Alpen light bars instead of hi fi bars - 2 for an HEB, could have saved you 6 syns on saturday
I think the tomato-y mug shots are free - someone else can advise further.

Blimey its quiet on here today!
My christmas cake is in the oven cooking (I love baking but its the only cake of the year I'll allow myself to eat!), done 30mins on the Wii Fit (need to do more later), done the ironing, changed the bed, washed the sheets & watched two DVDs. Need to tidy a bit but haven't got the get up and go as I'm lonely today (OH at his Dads this weekend)
Can't stop eating but so far its been good
Brekkie; two eggs and tinned spaghetti
Lunch; savoury rice
Snacks; a few SW chips to finish some spuds and a melon currently chilling in the fridge.
Dinner; I fancy tagliatelle but nothing to go with it - can I use a can of campbells mushroom condensed soup??? (7 syns)0 -

hmmm you can almost see the tumbleweed..... sorry you are feeling lonely, I hate it when OH is away, even for the day (he works from home, so I get very used to him being around)
tagliatelle sounds nice - the soup sounds like a good idea, although I'm not sure I would use the whole can! Do you *anything* else that you could bung in for a bit of texture ... onions, mushroms, other veg etc?0 -
Ive just started the SW diet (as of yesterday!) I am terrified at the idea of going to a group, even though the price seems reasonable. I wanted to join online instead and its £60!!! for 3 months which I can't afford as you have to pay it all at once! I know its not allowed for someone to tell me the SW password so can someone help with a few points please.
So Ive bought some slimming world books from Ebay and am trying to get my head round the diet with the books and the info thats on the SW website. Its a bit confusing though!
Im finding that my Healthy Extra A choice every day has got to be the 250ml semi-skimmed milk because I love my cups of tea! I have them with Candarel of course!
Am I right in that you should use Healthy Extra B to fill in what is missing on your plate? Ie. if you are on an Original Day you are eating meat and therefore you can use Healthy Extra b to have the potato or pasta on your plate too? Then on a green day when you are eating carbs you can use Healthy Extra b to have the meat. Is this right?
Hope Ive got it right otherwise I am going to just give up trying!!!0 -
Yeah, that's true - I've prob got lots of other veg in the freezer. Would cut the syns too - can have the other half of the can as lunch one day0

Sounds like the books you've got are old - you can have two HEA's a day now so either milk AND cheese, or sometimes you can have both cheese or both milk.
HEB's are to provide the balanced diet but do restrict proteins, refined carbs (bread and cereal) etc. You should have both HEB's every day to get that balance, but yes its as you describe it - meat on a green day (and/or cereal/bread/canned fruits etc) and potato/peas/parnsnips/cereal/bread on a red day.
We're always here to help!

My weigh in is on tuesday, but im 5 days in and ive lost 0.5lb so far which for my first week is bloody pathetic. I dont think this diet is working for me as everyone seems to loose 7lb the first week and ive lost f all so far. I think i might go back to the cambridge diet because at least that works. Or ill have to stick to this, and eat just free foods and count the calories so i dont go over 1500 a day.SW Started 27/08/0868.5 lb to Loose
So far lost 18lb - 06/09/08
