well, im back from my wi, and lost half a pound. a bit disappointed but i have been so bloated all week, i feel like a blimp!
has anyone any tips on how to beat the bloated feeling? I know Ive had more green days than red this last week, so that could be a factor. ive also not been drinking enough water either. if anyone has any advice it would be really appreciatedYou're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -

200g tin extra lean corned beef
1 large onion, sliced
1 red pepper, chopped
Dash Worcestershire sauce,
Salt & pepper,
Sprinkle of herbs if liked,
4 eggs,
Very low fat natural cottage cheese,
Sliced tomatoes to top.
Slice the corned beef (easier if it’s been in the fridge for a couple of hours).
Layer in a large quiche dish, alternating beef, onion and red pepper.
Mix eggs with cottage cheese and W. sauce and pour over the dish.
Cook in medium oven for 30 mins. Place slices of tomato on top and cook for a further 15 mins until set and golden.
Eat hot or cold.
Thanks for this Consultant - I used to eat it all the time when corned beef was free, but stopped when it became synned thinking it would be too many. Is it 4 syns for the whole thing?
OH loves this - I'll have to surprise him with it one night.

Well done - a loss is a loss, and even half a pound means you're going in the right direction. :T
Make sure you're getting enough fibre, and drink plenty of water. Peppermint tea is very good for the digestive system and I often drink it when I'm feeling a bit bloated or sluggish.

First of all,1/2 a lb is better than a slap with a wet fish (especially on a green day - all those syns!) but I do know how you feel.Too many green days do the same to me,as does not enough water.I would recommend some bran tablets and as much liquid as you can manage for a few days, hopefully that will help.I lose really slowly but the point is I'm still losing! There is no prize for 1st place here! Also when you do have GREEN days try having wholemeal everything,it might help move 'things' a bit quicker,IYKWIM?!:rotfl:
WELL DONE ON LOSING WEIGHT!:j :j :j :j:T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p

Yer it's from an old ad they did. They had a slogan along the lines of - British Rail...we'll get you there (or something like that - it was a LONG time ago!).Anyway their performance back then was as poor as it is now so they got the pee extracted from them quite badly. So,that's what I mean when I say I'll get there, just a bit slower than other trains!!!!:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T

thanks Lois and Kelly
, i appreciate your tips. im sure its the drinking thing because the bran thing im having loads and loads of (but might try the wholemeal pasta Kelly).
i've just moved into a new building at work, and the water coolers are miles away, and im very conscious of getting up and down all the time. Im gonna have to invest in a big bottle and keep a large amount on my desk at a time i think. and yes, it is half a pound and i shouldnt be too disappointed, ive still lost over a stone and not gained yet so im happy with thatYou're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -

Only problem I can forsee, is next Monday is Bank holiday, so instead of being weighed at 10am, it's 6.30pm  So I need to be ultra-good all week and not eat a lot on Monday to be sure I get it, 'cos I'm on holiday the next week and don't want to have to wait until the week after that for my sticker!
I'M off on holiday on the 27th for a week to tenerife all inclusive_party_
, and i'm not gonna worry or beat myself up and you should'nt too , just go flexi and add tonic water or diet coke to your drinks and have a fab time :T :T :T :T :T :T , peachy x
