I had my first weigh in tonight and lost 4½lbs, so I'm pleased with that. I'm going out for a meal on Friday though, hope that doesn't spoil things.

I like the way you can go on the SW Lifeline Online site, type in your new weight and see your progress on a downward graph. Let me know if you want the password.

Can anyone recommend a good Slimming World recipe book? They had some on display tonight, but I didn't have time to look through them.

Hi everyone, you all seem to be doing so well. I have had my holiday, went back to class last night, and had lost 9lbs over the 4 weeks, which meant I got my stone, one and a half stones and my club 10 awards!!! All a bit embarrassing really...

So now I am really motivated now to keep going. I hadn't been able to stick to the plan when I was away, but now I am going to try more red days than I did before.

Making the meat loaf today that was posted a day or so ago.

    Jeez girl - thats FANTASTIC!:T :T :T :T

To go away and lose is great - to lose 9lb over 4 weeks of holidays is MARVELLOUS. I'd love to know what you were doing if you 'couldn't stick to the plan while you were away' !!!!
Three Cheers For Polly!

WooHoo! Weigh in was last night, I lost 1.5lbs! That takes me to a total loss of 19lbs since I started on the 2 april this year. I have 2 lbs to lose to get to my 1.5 stone award and club 10! I have two weeks to that in cos thats when I go to my brother-in-laws wedding.

A good day today. Beat off my mid afternoon sweet thing craving with a mini milk, which I must check the exact syn value for but I know its small. :o

Hungry now. Have a small handful of grapes to keep me going until tea (an hour or so's drive home first), better than doing a massive bowl of smash and spaghetti hoops like I used to do - my concept of free food went a bit too far into 2 snacks that might as well have been full sized meals a day - on top of 3 regular meals - whoops.

The best ones (in my opinion) are the 100 Green Recipes, the 100 Free Original Recipes and (best of all) the Delicious Food Optimising Days. You can get all 3 for under a tenner - bargain!!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Been to class tonight and LOST 2.5 lbs. I stayed the same last week and was a tad disappointed, but maybe I'm one of those people (ARE there such people??;) ) who only lose once a fortnight?

I record my food and exercise religiously each week so why I don't lose some weeks is a mystery. At least I don't put on!!

Anyway I am slap bang on a "certain amount" in stones and I want to be UNDER that next week.

Best of luck to everybody on here.

Pennylane, my sister did sw for a good few months and she was exactly the same as you - she was really frustrated but when she looked at it overall over a period of a few months she saw a pattern emerging and had a really good steady weight loss but not every single week. So, stick at it - you have done so well so far so you must be doing something right!!! It is just a case of sticking to it through thick and thin and it does eventually all come off..... Moll xx
