Ive been in the garden today cutting the grass, it was so hot the sweat was dripping off me. But i just kept think sweat them pounds off. Took me nearly an hour ( i have a big garden.)
Now im making chilli baked potatoes. One of my favourites. . Cant wait to eat and its all free. potato is a HE.FLOSSEY :j:j

Hi everyone,
I survived the gym yesterday :j but I've had a bad few days. Does anyone feel they have less energy now? For the last few weeks I've really struggled to get out of bed in the morning and going to bed earlier makes no difference. I just feel exhusted, drained and worn out. I'm trying to get to the doctor ASAP as I'm concerned I maybe getting depressed again, Had I not had my gym induction yesterday I doubt I'd have actually bothered to get up. I'm so proud of how well I've done and the last thing I want to do is get derailed in my efforts!
I'm just so so tired, I haven't gone overboard with exercise either with the gym yesterday being my first effort exercise wise. (other than a 20 min walk to and from the train station everyday instead of taking the bus)
So can anyone suggest some energy boosting foods I could eat?0 -

For example yesterday she had no breakfast, tomatoes on toast with egg. And then she took a tin of spaghetti and an apple to work and that was to do her 10 hours. She works nites. Ive tried telling her she needs to eat properly but you know what they are like, they know best. I just hope she sees sense soon!

I work from 10 till 6.30 in the morning ,and i go into work for 8 so my son can get to bed .
I'M off work monday ,tuesday, and then wenesday , thursday ,friday night i'm in .
When i went to class and started nights i wasn't lossing any or much weight :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: and i ask my consultant at the time whyand she said i wasn't eating enough , my body was storeing my fat for the nights i worked :eek: :eek: and to start taking food in with me , i was only eating a yogurt at night :rolleyes: .
So i did and she was right, my weight started shifting again :j .
When i go into work now , i save one h/b for say 2 alpine light bars and i syn some crips ( french frys) and take in fruit & yogurt ,on green day snackpot too, or jacket & beans from staff canteen if really hungry .
IF on red ham sandwhich filled with salad , yogurt & strawberries , crips again and so on , or syn pitta bread ( tesco freefrom 4 syns) cram with salad and chicken tikka strips or tuna mayo .
BUT you must eat and of course drink plenty of water or tea , diet anything , hope this helps , peachy x

sorry to hear that your having a few bad days, yeh it could be depression , i felt like that but the pills are working , still not bouncing , but i do try and do something each day . Some days i dont manage anything, but im now starting to feel a bit guilty if i dont do something.. Another sign that the meds are working. Wouldn't of cared less a few weeks back. Also i thought exercise was supposed to make your feel more energised. Just makes me feel knackered. :eek:
Could also be that your not eating enough . Try eating a bit more and see if that helps.
Also do you walk there and back to the train station. That adds up to 40 mins a day. Could just be that. But i think your right to try and see your gp, and see what he/she has to say.

, Im gonna show dd these posts and shame her into eating properly. I know working nights is a pain for some people, but i know she can do it. She makes me so mad :mad: . I think the fact that im loosing the weight quite quickly at the moment dont help the situation, but ive tried to explain to her that i follow the plan properly and that when you do it works. Im begining to wonder if she is in the right frame of mind at the moment. I know how difficult is is when your not.. A mothers work is never done!!

Hi guys!
I'm starting the slimming world diet from wednesday. I'm not going to a class, as I went for about a year in 2006, lost 6 stones and became a consultant for them. I left the job due to family issues, and stopped going to group as i felt like I had failed the whole system. Needless to say, weight has slowly crept back on and i need to get it sorted now. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to PM me this weeks password so I can have a nosey at the site and see what is new.
I'm going to keep up with this thread as much as possible. Been having a read at all your posts and your losses are really inspirational. If anyone has any questions, i'll answer them to the best of my knowledge!

The thing is we are all programed to think that if we don't eat will loss weight , and i blame tv and the so called mags , with all there air brushing :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: .
I used to stave myself and then binge on food and feel guilty and make myself sick for years until i went to slimming world and thats why i totally beleve in it .
And iv'e kept the weight off and can eat what i like and i know that if i'm naughty its back to basics and get back on track and it will come of , its given me back the power i loss all them years ago , its a healthy living plan0
