Is it worth buying a recipe book? (I'm the type that doesn't normally cook, but should). I need to get meals sorted, right now i'm doing red days (On first week) & just seem to be binging on yogurts (Like all six at a time!) and jsut eating bits of meat lol
I guess say with weight watchers if I wanted their curry I can, with sw it'd be syn'd & god knows how many, so I can't really? I dunno I don't think i've lost a pound, only thing i'm good at is I did drink plenty of water. I'm even pointing it up on ww methods to check!
Any help appreciated while I try to find more in thread x0 -
Well been and got weighed and iv'e put on 3lb:whistle:    , ah well never mind
back on track now .
I'm having a big garlic steak and jacket & side salad for dinner , plus strawberrys and 0% greek yogurt and sweetner for pud   , can't waite .
Good luck everyone with weigh in today and tomorrow , peachyx0 -
Tigerlily - with SW you can make a syn free curry and its unlimited amount! If you have it on a green day you can have unlimited rice TOO!
Try not to binge on one food - your body won't get a balanced diet that way. How about a cooked breakfast (free sausages from Morrisons or Quorn, eggs, toast and bacon), ham or chicken salad with lots of pickles for lunch and a meat and three veg type of meal for dinner with a weighed jacket pot. Omlettes are also good - lots of veg for green day or chicken or prawn/seafood for a red day with the veg too if you want!
You will lose weight eating so little, but it won't stay that way for long.
Oh - and if that sarnie was on wholemeal bread you can deduct 6 syns as that would have been your HEb.
You need to trust SW - not compare it with WW - its a totally different plan - and it DOES work if you follow it 100%0 -
Hi
This is my first post on MSE and just wanted to say how pleased I am to find this thread - I really need to get back in the SW frame of mind but without attending class ( I really can't find the spare cash to go ), so I can really use the support and recipe ideas)
It's my first weigh in tomorrow morning and I like the idea of having people to tell, it might help motivate me....
Good luck to everyone

This is no way to try and follow the food optimising plan.
You need to get a proper grounding in how it works (and it does work) and the best way to do that is to join a class and attend for at least a couple of weeks. At group you will have as much help as you need to learn to put foods together and make proper, filling amd nourishing meals which will keep you interested for the weeks and months ahead.
This is not a diet, and shouldn't be treated as such, it is a healthy eating plan, which, once learnt, should be how you live and eat for ever after!
WW is totally different - you can't mix the two, you must follow either one or the other.........and I know which I preferI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
The free sausages are the Eat Smart 8 Pork sausages in the chiller cabinet (not the cumberland ones) - the frozen ones of the same name and sort are NOT free. (Quorn sausages are also free but not as nice and very dry!)0

Anyhow - not been in there myself, but my best mate reliably informs me that Muller Lights are on offer 25p each in Asda. I'm down to my last dozen :rotfl: so will pop in at the end of the week to stock up!!!! :jWe’ve had to remove your signature.
