Hi Everyone, and welcome Lamarsi :hello:,
Had a quiet day today. Just popped to the shops for a paper and pottered about the flat. Haven't felt hungry today at all. Had a bit of fruit this morning and cooked brunch for me and OH. (cooked breakfast very yummy and all free foods, cos I'm on a red day) After brunch had a wry smile reading the paper about "Sat Faturday" which was research that shows alot people that eat healthily through the week, let it all go on the weekend and eat too much Sat Fat by eating fry ups, croissants and pizza. Apparently a coffee with full cream milk has 2.6g of sat fat in it! Yuck no wonder I can't stand Full cream milk in my tea!

    Kelly,
I'd would have thought you'd be ok it you go straight back to plan. An Italian chef for a Dad? I'm jealous :D My dad's signature dish is Pie, Beans and Chips. Thankfully I don't live at home, as by the sounds of the grumblings from Mum and Sister it gets made alot along with egg and chips!
One of my fave dishes is Pollo Valdastana so if I start dreaming about it I'll blame you :p

The Italians round here do it. It's chicken with tomato and mozzerella coated in breadcrumbs. I suppose a bit like a chicken kiev but with a different filling. And it tastes lovely.... hmmm

    Hi all,

Just found this thread - going to work my way through it when I can squeeze in some time later : seen some great ideas just skimming through so far !

I've been on SW twice, and lost a stone or so each time - loved the diet once I got my head round it. Still have my books etc, but had reached stalemate last time and needed to cut back a bit financially, so stopped going to classes, intending to continue the good work on my own ............ managed to a certain degree, but a few pounds (quite a few !) have crept back on and it's really depressing !

Starting again today, will use some of the ideas on this thread to motivate me - thanks so much ! Will be doing this for my 14 y o too, as she's wanting to lose weight and I want to make sure she does it sensibly : no fad dieting, just healthy eating.

If anyone can PM me the current / next password I'd be eternally grateful. I do plan to rejoin SW, once the house is sorted and money isn't as much of a issue - used to love the classes, big motivator. Hopeful this thread can keep me on track at first, 'til I can get back to classes.

Will have a look through some of my old magazines / recipes and if not already covered on this thread, can post them to add to the 'sum of knowledge' already here.

    Cheers, all !

    Hi folks,
Having a bad day today. Started to try and sort out the mess that is my bedroom. I've given up for now. Came across a bag of christmas presents which had 2 bottles of beer and a bottle of wine in! And a massive bar of dairy milk. Which has set me off on missing some foods......... Such as pizza, chips, crisps, burgers, chocolate and so on.
But I will get over this, I know it's all in my mind and that when I've dropped a dress size I'll be glad I didn't give up, even if I feel like that now.
And looking over my online food diaries I've had more syns than I thought this week.
But tomorrow is another day and a chance to get myself back on track.
