Well done to all you losers and STS'ers, big hugs to those not doing so well too. I had my WI on Thursday and was over the moon to have lost another 3 1/2 lbs! that takes me to 1st 9lbs in eight weeks and saw me get my 1 1/2 stone award and my club 10. I've tried swapping things around a bit this week instead of cereal, having fruit and VLF fromage frais for brekkie and saving that HEB for later in the day, trying different HEB's instead of sticking to bread/cereal and of course the old favourite upping the water intake. I'm like the cat that got the cream (or not got the cream, if you see what I mean!) Keep going everybodyWhen Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0

Hi everyone,
lost 2lbs this week so very pleased :j . Some good losses mentioned - well done all. Fast forward sound scary - well done for trying it. I too will be awaiting the results.
Do you think that drinking lots of water actually speeds up the weight loss? I keep seeing people mention it? I have tried to drink more water but just wondered.
Would someone mind pming me that password. I have completely forgotton what it is and did manke a point of looking. Doh.
Thanks0 -
i'm not sure it SPEEDS up weight loss, more aids it!not explaining very well ,am i?!basically the more liquid you drink, preferably h20,but anything that doesn't aggravate the liver will help your cells move your vits and minerals around your body quicker making everything work more efficiently,OR something like that.....!also often people have large tummies cos they're bloated not fat, or dehydrated.our bodies are 70% water so need constant topping up to stay that way.keeping up liquid levels also helps move and release toxins from the body,as does BODYBRUSHING which again helps get rid of bad and keeps hold of good.
hope i've explained myself better than i think i have?!......:T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p

Hi everyone, thanks for your interest and encouragement!
Another good day where I've managed to stick to it, and I've not been hungry at all today. I've been busy all day so that has probably helped.
B: 1/2 grapefruit, 2 weetabix and 200 ml skimmed milk
L: 2 wholewheat crispbread, 1oz extra light Philadelphia, French Fries, Mullerlight
Snack: 1 tomato saved from lunch!
Tea: Stir fry made from 4 oz prawns, 1 sm onion, 1/2 red pepper, 2oz broccoli florets, 2 oz baby whole sweetcorn, 1 tbsp dry sherry, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 oz noodles, also 5 oz mange tout from my veg unit.
4oz raspberries and 4 level tbsp very low fat fromage frais.
We had guests for tea and with having the raspberries and fromage frais for a pudding, I just felt as though I'd had the same as everyone else.
Turns out its my star week but surely nobody can retain 6 lbs of water can they?:rotfl:
Penultimate day tomorrow, and roast chicken dinner. Should be alright!0
