Just thought I would let you know how I'm getting on with Fast Forward...surprisingly well actually!
I am clearly eating way way less food and although I have been a bit hungry in the afternoons, I am surprised by how little I can eat and still be okay. Today I have had:
B - Pear and satsuma
2nd B - baked beans on toast
L - quorn stirfry with loads of veg
Snack - 5oz carrot sticks
T - chilli and rice
I was really dreading this evening as I made my chilli last night and 2 oz beef mince ain't a lot of food!!! However, the 2 tbsp of kidney beans bulk it out quite a bit and you get 2 oz of rice as well. In actual fact, I ate it at 6pm and I am still really full now (9.30pm), thought I would be starving and would fall off the wagon tonight.:o
I have been drinking diet coke as a treat! Caffeine free diet coke at that! Makes you appreciate small mercies, doesn't it?:rotfl:
So, I am quite proud of myself, I have stuck to it rigidly for two whole days and can get to the end of the week, I know I can!:A0 -
Help, help, help. We have a taster session at class tomorrow and there's not enough hours in the day!! I want to take something tasty, different, not expensive and QUICK to do. Not asking much am I?:rotfl: :rotfl:
Any superfast ideas VERY welcome!
I see there are some wonderful weight losses this week. Well done everyone!:T :T
Desserts also seem to go down very well at tastings! How about doing the lemon curd mixed in low fat yogurt idea and buy a pack of mini meringue nests for them to scoop the yogurt with? Credit due to the Consultant31 who originally posted this idea!0 -

Sorry I'm not all that chirpy at the moment - I am trying to decide where to go from here, and how to proceed with this weight loss project thingy.....
hi angie, sorry to hear about your predicament.feel free to moan away!you seem to be doing everything right?are you very short?!i know it sounds like a daft question but i am and i don't care what any of the slimming clubs say,i simply NEED less calories than taller people!basically the bigger/smaller you are.the more/less energy you need.and i'm very short.very short indeed;)!maybe you could try having less syns?i know it's unfair but it's got to be better than FF?!or maybe you should see a doc?if you're doing everything by the book then there must be another problem you're unaware of.thyroid or something.sorry i'm not much help but i definately know how frustrating it is when you're doing everything you should be doing and not seeing any results.my problem WAS medical, polycystic ovaries,AND i can ONLY lose weight when i'm on my meds.anyway, just wanted to say don't fret,we're all here to help.i'm sure my o/h thinks i've got a crush on :money: ,i'm on this forum so much!!!
PS - made your samosas tonight and very nice they were too.though i think i overdid the chilli a little.....:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil, like women....;):D:p
