I must be lost as I never venture on here, despite being a phatbear, however I thought I would have a quick two penneth worth, my good lady does slimming world and has mentioned nimble before but its a con, I noticed that a 100 grammes of nimble has roughly the same amount of cals and fat in if as a normal slice of bread, the only reason they are low'ish per slice is because they are wafer thin and have no real weight to a slice, its also worth looking at thing like go ahead bars which are far from diet friendly etc.
Anyway just thought id mention it and good luck and keep up all the hard work, personaly i think a lap band is the way forward.
all the best

Oooh I could if I lost at least 2lbs every week - it would be 18th Nov which gives me a few weeks extra if I don't lose 2 every time.! :j :j :j0 -

That sounds really possible, come on Catt, let's go for it :T . I haven't set a target yet, but would really like to have lost 2 stones by our sons wedding in SeptemberYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Well done everyone! Some great losses this week!
I put on 2.5 lbsbut that is unsurprising as I was on holiday last week and partook in many all-you-can-eat buffets!
We have a temporary consultant at our group at the moment as ours is off sick for a while and she gave me the 'Fast Forward' plan mentioned by someone a while back on this thread (forgotten who - I've looked now it was 666paw - thanks for your insights). I am trying Fast Forward this week as I am getting frustrated, being only 6 lbs from target (was 3.5 lbs away, before going on holiday).
I have completed my first day today and have been really good. I was a bit hungry during the day but I've had a lovely big tea. I just kept drinking cups of tea to distract me from munching, it was fine.
I have a couple of questions to ask, if any of you know anything about it? Can you have two of the same choices on the same day if you want to e.g. double up on cheese for instance, if you count double the units? Also, could you swap mince for quorn mince, or would it mess up the nutritional balance? There aren't many main meal choices and I'd imagine if you were vegetarian you'd have to keep having the same couple of choices in one week.
Anyway, I'll let you know how I get on. 6 lbs loss would be nice!;)0 -

Hi Guys,
I've just come back from group and I'm over the moon with this weeks 4 lb loss. I was expecting to put on so it's a fab result!:j I was also slimmer of the week so have come home with 2 bags full of goodies, although my fridge looks a bit like tesco's fruit and veg section!
We actually talked about the go ahead bars tonight, there was a wholemeal one that someone had brought in last week for the slimmer of the week but they weren't allowed in as no one was sure of the syn value. Our consultant took them away to work out the syn value and they are 3 syns a slice or 9 a packet!
TMD. I've found my OH has been......... insensitive I think is the kindest way of putting it, day of my first WI I came back from being away for 5 days. He came to meet and proudly gave me 2 140g bars of dairy milk! Since then he's ate the light cheese slices I had, and replaced with cheap normal ones. And bought a massive bag of frozen chips!:mad:0 -
