HO HUM you mean?!no nimble bread isn't expensive btw!though a bit scraggy and skinny imho.but then i love all the seedy,crusty wholemeal breads so that's probably why...

Nimble is expensive compared with some of the cheaper options - but its worth it to have as a HEb - there are some other breads you can have as a Heb but less of them - and I think nimble is the only white bread you can get (68p in Asda)

OH is just lighting up the BBQ! We're off to SW then having a feast when we get back - prawns, corn on the cob, free sausages and chicken - yummy!! :j Hope I've lost some more - wish me luck!

i use regular wholemeal and cut 2 crusts off each side so it weighs 57grams but you can still make a normal(ish) sandwich with it.the thing with nimble is its so thin and airy it doesn't fill me up at all.got some yeast free bread today,it was reduced so thought i'd give it a go.just got to work out the syns now.

TMD - as others have said, nimble is about 70p a loaf. Its OK - not what I would eat if I wern't doing SW, but its not bad.

How about using one HeB on two alpen light bars each day.... you could have one am, one pm and they would keep the sweet munchies at bay - the choc/orange ones are quite tasty....

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it worked!! I've lost another 2.5lbs taking me down to the lowest I've been this try! Another 4lbs to go until my 2.5stone award! :j Looks like I might be out of my rut!!! :j

I must be lost as I never venture on here, despite being a phatbear, however I thought I would have a quick two penneth worth, my good lady does slimming world and has mentioned nimble before but its a con, I noticed that a 100 grammes of nimble has roughly the same amount of cals and fat in if as a normal slice of bread, the only reason they are low'ish per slice is because they are wafer thin and have no real weight to a slice, its also worth looking at thing like go ahead bars which are far from diet friendly etc.

Anyway just thought id mention it and good luck and keep up all the hard work, personaly i think a lap band is the way forward.

Yes our consultant said the same about Nimble. Just get any 400g wholemeal loaf, like Allinsons or store brand. Besides it holds up better in the toaster than Nimble which tends to become charred or go on fire!!!!!!
