    Weigh in this morning, and I don't think I have lost. I need to get my head around it again as I seem to have slipped back into my old wine / chocolate / crisps habits :o

  • i've got a slow cooker and do use it quite regularly, not as much as I should

    oh dear TMD that really doesn't leave much time for preparation,does it?!don't know what to sugget really,apart from campaigning for more hours in the day!!!perhap you could use the ready chopped stew packs and meat.would get a bit boring quickly though i think.or maybe just use half the pack if there's only 2 of you?by the sounds of it you should be skinny as a rake working all those hours.do you have alot of weight to lose?

    I'm currently 14 stone and a size 16, this time last year I was 12 stone and a size 12. I used to go to the gym loads and loved it, but I just couldn't afford it anymore, and then I got the second job at the pub and I didn't have the time anymore either! I'd like to get back to 12 stone if I can although I'm not sure I will.

    First day of the diet yesterday and I was hungry ALL day and had a gross headache, might have been chocolate withdrawals! Anyway I was very good and ate all the right things yesterday apart from when OH brough some smarties cookies home from tesco and I ended up having two!!! No will power, thats my trouble. Then he tried to put a chocolate bar in my lunchbox! Good job I checked before I left the house this morning or else I would have eaten it by now!!

    Anyway its 9.16, I've been here an hour and although I had a bowl of special k for brekkie, I'm starving. Might have to go round the corner and get a drink or something.

    Anyway today I'll be eating:

    Special K and semi skimmed milk

    x2 white rolls with ham and a smidge of light mayo (run out of salad yesterday! Must buy some at lunchtime)
    Orange
    Apple
    Banana
    Mullerlight

    For tea I'm having a jacket potato with beans and a smidge of grated cheese together with some salad (that I need to buy at lunch!).

    How am I doing!! LOL

    Looks good to me

    I used to have the same problem as you being hungry so soon after eating breakfast, I now usually have porridge or Weetabix and slice a banana over the top, I find that this is much better at keeping me full till lunchtime, its something to do with the GI of oats and wholegrain, it releases energy more slowly (so my mum tells me anyhow!)

    TRULY , you need to eat more , try having beans on toast for brekkie h/b , have a mug shots as well yogurt ,fruit , for lunch , remember you can eat as much free food as you need , on red days and green , dinner jacket ,beans , cheese h/a .
    Add things like syn some frenchfrys 4,1/2 syns , quavers 5syn , curly wurly 6 syn .

    I don't really have time to have anything other than cereal for breakfast!! What are mug shots??

    Am really annoyed at OH now, just eating my rolls and he has put butter in as well as the mayo despite me asking specifically for him not to do so!! Grrrrr

    Ahhh so its your fault the smartie cookies are so moreish!

    everyone seems to be doing so well this week!! esp Tractor Girl.....7lbs is amazing! definately need to take a leaf out of your book!

    well the good news is, my night out and drinking should be cutting down now hopefully aiding the weight loss as all of my friends have gone home for the summer.

    The bad news is.....before they all left, all i have done this week is get drunk and eat crap.

    However, i am now back on the wagon! hurrah! yesterday i have drunk at least 1.5litres of water aswell as other drinks and i plan to do the same today. I have stuck to foods i am allowed (having no syns as i dont think i can have any for at least another week seen as though ive been bad!) and i am going to buy superspeed foods at lunch to gnash on! i went to the gym last night, am going tonight and again like i always do before WI (sometimes helps shift 1/2lb if ive had a bad week!):j

    truly , there little packets like cuppa soups and there found by the cuppa soups , only get the ones with 1% fat on there free :D , peachy x , sorry yes there called mug shots thats there brand name

    Steer clear of the Creamy Cheese Pasta one though, lots of Syns!!!!!
