    Hi gang

What do you use as sweetener with the rice pudding? Have used Canderel, but not very sweet, even though I've put a lot in?

    Well done Charliesmum:T:T:T:T:T:T

Cor blimey....i've walked my legs off today....
To and from the kids school 3 times, 1 - drop off, 2 pick up, 3 parents eve.
That is nearly a mile each way, so say, 5 miles and whilst they were at school I walked into town and back which is 2.5 miles each way so another 5 there... 10 Miles altogether, I don't think i need do anything else today apart from my crunches and leg raises later.

Also a possible tip here.....I have myself a very large slow cooker, today I chucked in......
500g of lean mince lamb - 35 syns
    2 tins toms - free
4 oxo cubes veg (made into stock) - 4 syns
    8tsp bisto - 8 syns
all sorts of frozen veg (loads of) - free
lentils and pearl barley - free

All in that totals 47 syns, I get 3 meals worth out of it so that's 15 syns, and then those meals are divided by 4 mouths totalling = 3.9 syns per serving. I will use todays poured over mash, I am turning one into shepards pie with my hea of cheese on top baked in oven (for tom) and will freeze the other portion for another day we will have that over sw chips.

Hope that make sense, I was only meant to illustrate how handy a slow cooker is hehe..... I do this with all sorts of meats and if you leave out the meat it works out 1 syn per serving!!!! for a massive filling meal.

    Off to enjoy it now

Maintaining is frustrating, can I suggest a couple of things that have really helped me? Sorry if you've already tried them,
Firstly are you drinking plenty? The more i drink the more the weight shifts, no idea why, personally some days i'm convinvced its the running to the loo that does it, lol. but it really has helped me.
Also, do you vary what you eat? are you having same hea's & heb's all the time, do you always have cereal for breakfast? or lots of one food, even though its free, i.e. in a green day do you always eat loads of pasta, but not rice and/or potatoes? i've found i have to really jiggle things around to keep the weight moving, if i eat a lot of 1 thing, it slows everything right down.
its so frustrating maintaining, but persevere, just remember that you are eating healthier than you were before and your body's reaping the benefits, even though its not showing on the scales,

big hug to you both, i've been there and know how pants it feels,

    160

    ahhh thanks 160!

i don't vary my HEAs and HEBs that much - i always have oatibix minis and soya milk for breakfast. i do vary the other 2 though.
also, i do end up eating a lot of pasta so i guess i will have to mix things upl ike you said and introduce some quorn or something.

it is really annoying though, that i can't just follow the plan as per the book and lose weight.
i kinda feel "cheated" that i can't just eat whichever free food i want and lose weight, like most slimming worlders can...
