Hi everyone, I've not done SW for about 3 years now but I've still got all the books. I'm thinking of starting it up again. When I did it originally I mainly did the green days but I found my weightloss was fairly slow, has anyone else found this ? I start a new job in a couple of weeks & would be able to rejoin a class, but would really like to start now to get going

    Regards

    Hi guys,
I didn't run away, I caught malware on my Pc......boy that hurts!!!
But I'm back now, last week being my first WI......I lost 4 1/2 lbs:j
This week's target is 3 1/2 lb, but not been good at all this week....had a couple of bad late shifts, especially coping with the Rugby / Springsteen fans on top of the Circle line party.
I gotta teach myself better self discipline, not beat myself up...I'm gonna get that target by hook or by crook.
    Cheers you lot,
    Mark T
    Attend SW Tuesdays =
Walk to station every day = :j
3 workouts per week = None :embarasse
Plan my meals weekly = Nope:eek:
  • WHERE IS EVERYONE?!?it's been very quiet on here lately, maybe cos it's half term.......

anyway i have completely fallen off the wagon.wine every night (and sometimes daytime! ),pub lunches and quite alot of bread.all of which make me incredibly bloated too.my head is well and truly hung in shame:o :o:o:o .don't think i've gained cos although i've been eating whatever i want i haven't been really pigging out so mercifully i haven't been properly punished for my synning!!!!i don't even know why i've jumped off really,i'm not feeling stressed or anything, just lost sight of my targets maybe.

SOOOOOOO - here is my revitalising 'climbing back on the wagon' SW plan!:T :rotfl:
    1) i've got a weeks free trial at a CURVES gym (has anyone been?what do they think?) and if i GENUINELY like it then i'm gonna join cos it's only 10 minutes from my house and i like the fact that once you've paid your joining fee you can pay when you want, you're not sucked into a 12/18 month contract or anything daft like that.i'm gonna do the full 5 days so even if i don't join,at least i'll have done lots of free body magic.how SW is that?!!!;)

    2) SPEED,SPEED,SPEED!i want a really big loss to spur me on (not lost any weight for about 3 weeks now:eek: ) so will be hitting super speedy munchables as much as possible.

    3) NO WINE IN THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!   don't know why i do it.half the time i'd rather have a glass of squash really but cos it's there i drink it,simple as that!so,if it's not there then i can't.will still have wine but properly measured, synned and only in the pub!

WELL,that's the masterplan, now all i've got to do is stick to it......:D

and decide what terribly naughty thing to have for dinner today!
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T
    :p:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p
    Was 11 st 5,now 10 st 7,would like to be....9 stone
  • PS - i have changed my signature to reflect my new determination to cease being a chubster and also to celebrate having packed in the fudge packing.my bosses were soooooo horrid and i really couldn't spend ANOTHER day staring at sweets,fudge.etc.now i just have to find more work.ooops!

Just a flying visit. OH has his op on Tuesday so having a few treats this weekend as he can't eat properly for months and we certainly won't be going out. Funnily enough my weight seems to have stabilised, but I mean to get back on track asap.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and lots of love xxxxx

What about Fern Britton finally owning up to having a gastric band fitted then? What a big fibber she is. A lot of people thought there must be more to it and finally she's owned up.

I will never eat a Ryvita Mini again!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Absolute bull about eating healthy meals - cooked by her loving TV hubby!!

But did she actually say that? I have read lots of speculation that she was on meal replacement shakes and healthy eating, but never heard her saying anything about her weightloss, just the media guessing and commenting. And with the gastric band she still had to eat less and healthy. I don't really care, in the end it is her business, but she would have been better off just saying, did she really think it would never come out? Same with that ALison, that was on big brother and now works for itv interviewing stars. I saw she was writing a column about weightloss and it came out she too had a gastric band but she said hers wasn't working so she had it emptied.

It must be hard being in the public eye and desperate to lose weight.

I joined SW a week past Tuesday. At my first WI I had lost 6.5 pounds, had a bit of a wobble last night. It was my Fiance's birthday and he wanted Pizza for tea. We ordered from Pizza Hut and I had 2 slices. I totally regret it today, I feel really bloated and bunged up. However one good thing, I'm not likely to want any pizza in the near future......
So I'm a bit nervous for WI on Tuesday.
This looks like a good place though, I hope you don't mind me hanging out with you. :o

I've just discovered a pile of old SW mags at the back of a seldom opened cupboard and I'm getting loads of different recipe ideas from them, although i'll have to check the syn count on them as these may have changed . If I find anything really good I'll post it on here.

HI Scroogey, welcome to the thread

Don't worry, if you have been good the rest of the week, I don't think two slices of pizza will make a difference. You should see what I get through, and still manage to lose weight ;)
