Well done peachy - go for it girl!

I guess I'm on a red day today as OH is preparing a chicken salad. He upset me this weekend and I haven't eaten since yesterday brunch. He's ruined my entire weekend and I can't wait to go to work tomorrow.

Well I'm just back from WI and have put on 1lb. Not at all bothered about it as being Bank holiday the time of the WI was 6pm instead of 10am so I think if I'd been weighed this morning I'd've lost a couple.

Have been quite naughty this weekend though. Went to a Baby shower on Friday and had wine, food from the buffet and Toffee cheesecake (oh my G*d it was lovely), then last night we went to a friends 60th birthday party so again, buffet food. In laws were here today for a BBQ (LOL, we cooked and ate inside!!!) and I had Quorn chilli burgers - they were lovely - with a big salad.

I will get my 1.5 stone award next Monday!

I know the new password for the week too if anyone wants it.

tractorgirl , i bet you did'nt put on this week it dose make a differece to the time you get weighed , you have had more food to eat that day and that will still be in your system at 6pm , compaired to 10 in the morning , thats why to get a true reflection of what you weigh you should stick to the same time and day .
Ive been weighed after having just a cup of tea and then went to the loo at class got weighed and no word of a lie lost 2lb .
I don't think you should pay to much notice to this weeks weigh in mate , just carry on doing you diet and your more than get your 1.5 award :T :T , peachy x

ellie go to pages 99 onwards for some more great recipey everyones put on posts

Furr - that is incredible!! You sound very positive as well, which is great to hear. I have to say at our SW groups we have a real mixed bag. I suppose everywhere does, thinking about it!!:o

We have some who are very upbeat and positive and are losing steadily and try out new recipes etc.

We also have several "moaning minnies" who week after week trot out excuses about "going to a party" or "having a meal out". I just have to switch off when they start because it irritates me to hear them .... so, you GO to a party and choose stuff you KNOW is Free. Simple!

I've been out tonight and had a lovely time - wore some trousers that I haven't had on for about 2 years & which now fit beautifully and a new top. The feeling when I slid into those trousers was brill!:j So I got to this supper and there was a beautiful buffet - lovely salads, hot garlic bread, turkey, brown rice, pork pies, cheese. I chose masses of salad, plenty of turkey and some brown rice. I avoided the pies, cheese & bread.

Puddings were FAB - BF Gateau, apricot crumble and cream, meringue with raspberries & strawberries and fresh fruit salad and cheese & biscuits. Now, in a previous life I would probably have had a bit of everything :o but tonight I went for the meringue and it was delicious.

I am not paying to go to class each week and then not put the effort in or make excuses. I also want to wear those smaller trousers again!!;)

Don't worry PennyLane, keep reading this thread and making the recipes and the small trousers will fit sooner than you think!!:T

Hi ellie , i go away the end of august , so should do it easy .
ELLIE go into boots to get weighed i did i paid 75p for full body bmi , it gives you a true reflection of your body weight , your body fat content, height .
I'm 5ft 5 and weigh 9st 6 lb , my body fat good , and every week i then only pay 50p for just getting weighed after :T :T
I know what you mean about lossing that last bit of weight my body just says no , but just keep at it and hit the water and your do it
