    Hello compers:jsorry, couldn't resist:o and Hello all:j

Just a quick visit. Ruby's boot has come so we are out and about today. Got to make the most of the time before my OH is laid up. Now dogwalking is back, maybe my weight will shift a bit faster too.

Had a lovely treat meal last night, but it was followed by an unscheduled sweet as well, which was a bot OTT, but n'er mind!

Hope you're all having a good weekend but thinking about the people who are going through rough times. I hope you're ok. See you all later xxxx
gpuss give ruby big kiss and cuddle:kisses: :kisses: :kisses: :kisses3: , and have a lovly weekend hun :D

Can anyone find out the Syn value (if at all) of Asda Extra Special Scottish Beefburgers on a red day?

I can't find them online and I cant work it out via the nutritional values as they give them per 100g grilled and I don't know what one is going to weigh when it is cooked! (Pack of 4 is 284g)

    Thanks

Forgot to add, I've just made Lamb Koftas - lean minced lamb, finely chopped red onion & garlic, fresh mint (from the garden :) ) ground coriander and ground cumin. 500g pack of lamb mince made 6 so if the burgers I've got a Syns, I'll let hubby have them and I'll have the lamb.

He is lighting the BBQ as I type!

  • Hello everyone,

I recently did the Cambridge diet with much success, losing 2.5 stone in about 7 weeks. I've had a few months break and have managed to keep it all off, however I'm 14.4 stone and need to get back onto some sort of diet to lose the rest. I'm deliberating doing Cambridge again, however don't know if I can do it!!!!! Fact is, I adore food.... Although I found Cambridge fairly easy after the first few days or so, I don't know if I can I face the shakes for another 7 weeks....?! Which makes me think Slimming World may be a better option?

What sort of weight losses are you all getting on a weekly basis after week 1? I look forward to your replies, thank you xx

I lost 6 pounds in my first week bubbles. (I'm on week 2 now!)

I've done SW before and last time I did 5.5 on week 1, then between 1.5 and 3 for the next few weeks. It slowed down to a pound or so after about 2.5 stone.
