    Hi everyone

Well done to all the losers and maintainers. Don't know about where you are, but the weather here tonight is lovely, blue skies and sunshine.

Don't know if the 12 lbs I have lost have something to do with it, but I have so much energy. I mowed the lawn yesterday for an hour, and felt great afterwards. The diet has also forced me to cut down on my wine intake, and that is making a huge difference.

Just think, by Summer we will all be running around full of energy, wearing our shorts :j :j :j
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D
  • :grouphug: You guys are lovely thank you :grouphug:

I have continued to feel flat all day, but enough is enough - I had a good loss, and I am determined to repeat it next week - to do that I need to stop being miserable, be more positive and stay focussed - thanks to the many of you who have passed on your support - it *really* is appreciated.

So, I'm planning a delicious red day tea for tonight - being St Georges day, I've got a pheasant out the freezer, I'll roast it with bacon and will serve it with a huge pile of green veggies - I am really looking forward to it :j

I've lost 6 pounds in my first SW week. I should be over the moon, but I feel a bit despondent as I have such a long way to go (I have around 150 pounds to lose) but I'm trying to think of it as the first step forward rather than a drop in the ocean.

Keren, I know how you feel as I have a lot to lose too. Some days I feel overwhelmed by it but I am going to take it one chunk at a time - a stone is my first goal. I just keep coming on here and trying to keep myself motivated. Six pounds is an amazing start and you are that much nearer to your goal, so well done you:T:T:T

and well done to caramelegg too:T:T:T xxx

ooh, thankyou angie and gpuss. I was feeling a bit down generally today - OH was horrible to me this morning and it came back into my mind this afternoon, but I've just had 2 jacket potatoes and beans and I feel fab now.

Hi I am glad you are feeling better now after your very healthy meal, good for you.

gpuss is right, it will come off, just give yourself small goals to start with and you will be amazed.

I do tend to cheat a bit which is why it is taking me a while, but, it is coming off, not going, even if I stay the same it is still not going on.

Very envious of your 6lb start absolutely amazing. Well done you :T :T :T

Don't let OH spoil if for you either honey.
