Hi everyone - just back from my first week wi, where I lost 1.5lb....

....I know I should be pleased, but really, I thought I had lost quite a bit more, I have followed the plan to the letter, staying within syns (using them on alcohol mainly) our cooking and eating habits have changed massively...

I *know* I should be pleased, but I am feeling rather despondant and flat right now.

Since you've said you felt that you'd lost quite a bit more, I'm guessing that you feel well - healthy, energetic and full - so forget what the scales say and remember that this is not a diet but a healthy eating plan for life.

You should take note of your body measurements too as you may well find that, although you've only lost a small amount of weight, you have lost inches from your bust, waist and hips!

As my sig says, you have to start with the first step........keep stepping and you'll reach your destination in time (don't be impatient) :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I've lost 6 pounds in my first SW week. I should be over the moon, but I feel a bit despondent as I have such a long way to go (I have around 150 pounds to lose) but I'm trying to think of it as the first step forward rather than a drop in the ocean.

What I would like to know is, is there such a thing as a 'free' sausage - other than Quorn ones??? The lowest I can find is a low fat pork chipolata at 1 each on a red day - can that be beaten?!

The only sausages which are free are Morrisons East Smart Pork chilled (8) for £1.55. The frozen aren't free. Bowyers are 0.5 syns each I think, but not sure which varieties.

    these ones

Special thanks to welshnutta, kellybigboobs, skint_catt & gpuss for the encouragement and thanks to everyone else who give us all the inspiration to continue.
I am happy with my weightloss but I had set my heart on being at target by end of this month. So now I will change that to middle of May, fingers crossed.

    Take care
