  • Hi just thought I would give my tip for keeping track of your food intake.
I looked at the old slimming world food diary and designed one myself along the same lines then printed it out and laminated it and I use a white board marker and just wipe it clean the next week.

  • Thanks Jessie, thats a really good idea, stick it on the front of the fridge & you will never "forget" to write somethign down!
I currently feel like eating everythign in the house, not cos im hungry but cos im so wound up cos of work. Lots of negotiations ongoing about our oncall service & turns out we have to decide by tomorrow if we wanna do it or not, no means a massive cut in pay, yes means i will work about 50 hours a week & have 1 weekend off a month & still be on less money than i am now. Gotta work there for 12 hours 2night & i dont wanna go! (im stamping my feet!!)
Rant over, sorry girls but knew you'd listen, well read, & im feeling very fed up!

Thanks for the kicks up the bum back being angel-smiley-002.gif

Had the duck for dinner from the new SW mag it was delicious!!!!! Had to make it with tinned blackcherries so few more sins than 2 put worth every one of them

On a note of sw chips I'm lazy set my fan assisted oven to 200 and put my chips/wedges in a baking tray that has been sprayed with fry light. Add some boiled water (about quater to a half of a mug) cover with foil. Bake for 15 minutes. Then take off foil and cook for another 20/25 mins as usual checking every 10 shaking and adding a bit more frylight. Find them just as tasty as par-boiling first but with less fuss. Couple of points...... if there is excess water when removing foil then just use a little bit of kitchen towel to absorb the remians. Don't throw the foil away use it to line your grill pan!
