Morning everybody! Well done to all that have had a weightloss and chin up to those that were disappointed.
Well I managed to restrain myself from the call of the biscuit barrel on Wednesday night when I was having a bit of a wobble (thanks again for the support on here). I had a rollercoaster of a day yesterday as I had to be shoulder to cry on (well actually we cried together) for a family member that had had some bad news about a serious health issue and then in the evening, feeling totally drained, I had my week 1 weigh in.
OMG I lost 8lbs, :j :j :jI'm absolutely over the moon, I know I can do this, that was just the boost I needed to convince me. I realise I won't lose like that every week, but what a start!
Thanks to everyone on here for all the hints/tips/recipes/support. :TWhen Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0 -

Thanks Tractorgirl, I was gobsmacked. Especially as in my befuddled state I even went to weigh in wearing my jeans! Hopefully I'll manage to lose some next week too. When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0

Thanks Skint_Catt, it has given me a real boost to keep at it but it has made me realise what a (not so little) piggy I must have been before, as I've honestly not felt hungry or deprived since I started. Iut's our silver wedding anniversary in January 2009 and I would love to be able to get into my wedding dress again, for that (that'll mean losing about 4 stone though) I'm hoping to use that as motivation. When Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0
