    Good Monday Morning everyone:hello:

Thanks Kelly and Welshnutta for the holiday hints - all the advice is really helping me to decide a plan of action and resolve to stick to it - I shall NOT come back heavier after sabotaging my weight loss. NO NO! (see I'm practicing).

I had my WI today (I do at home and enter the details online) and I lost 0.8kg, which I think is about 1.5 lbs:j . OK, so this was after all 'ablutions' so to speak and completely nekkid but I now feel slimmer and it's made me more determined!
I would like to get a regular 1-2 llb loss as then I'll be at target by end May or June, so I think I'll do some careful planning for the next 5 days.

    Have a good day
    PK
big weldone you :T :T :T :T 1.5lb loss, your doing great keep it up , peachy x

Charlie's mum, you can make lovely roast potatoes with fry light - I couldn't beleive how good they were. Par boil the potatoes for 5 mins or so. Drain and shake them in the pan to roughen up the edges a bit, put in a roasting dish, spray with fry light and a bit of salt and roast for 40 mins. Super yummy and you don't feel you're missing out!

  • Morning all

Well done for all the losses, you're all doing really well.

I've not exactly been very SW this weekend but not really eaten much at all. OH of 7 years announced he didnt love me anymore and has moved into hotel. Heartbreak is great for dieting.
  • morning everyone, humble apologies for possibly slightly drunken egg rant last night but it had to be said and i feel SOOOOOOOOOO much better for having got it off my chest!:j still think the scotch egg pie thingy could be a hit on red......

PARISKATE - well done you,1and a half off, and in your face to the diet (sorry consultant 'plan') saboteurs!:T and shazrobo well done to you to.i haven't been able to weigh myself for 3 days now so gonna try and do it today.not really holding out much hope but will be happy if i maintain.

PEACHY - don't worry dude, you'll be fine!you're already at target cos you normally stick to the plan like glue.i'm sure your body won't hold 1 takeaway against you!;)

ANYWAY,best of luck to everyone at WI today.

  • oh finding,i'm so sorry for you.i know how it feels.are you sure there's no way back?you're quite right about heartache as a diet tool.i have to say divorce is the best diet i've ever been on!however happiness only makes me fat!!!!!!!!!my mum loves to call it contentment,i call it sitting-on-your-bum-ment but i know what she means.i know you really don't believe you'll ever be happy again at the mo but you will,i promise.i was with my ex for 10 years, gave him 2 kids and my youth (i was 19 when we met) and he wondered off with some old hag he'd known for 10 days!of course they split up 10 months after that.not that i laughed much of course!!!!i'm with 1 of his friends now, been together for nearly a year, got 4 kids between us,argue cos we're so different but it feels so real.and i'm with him cos i want to be not out of fear of being alone or just habit!my husband did me a huge favour, just couldn't see it at the time.GOD,i look at him now and i'm embarrassed to think i ever even kissed him in a previous life!all i can say is be kind to yourself, surround yourself with supportive people and enjoy the weight loss.

PS, Make sure you always look your best when you see him, don't let him think you're falling apart, even if you are. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Mornin all:wave:
Woohoo! Well done Pariskate and Shaz for the losses, fantastic:T

Peachey, you have to have a treat every so often, now you're at target especially. That's what life is about. You know you can get straight back on track, so let your braces dangle once in a while. Just tell yourself 'I deserve it' and also tell yourself 'I'm wonderful and I help lots of people' cos you are and you do :A

Findingmyownway, I hope him leaving turns out to be the best thing ever, though it won't seem so now. Come on here if you need a chat. I'm sure many of us have been in that situation and it helps to share your problems. Big hug from me :grouphug:

Had a good weekend (few treats though). Last night I made lamb meatballs (added garlic, steak seasoning and onion powder) with swede and sweet potato mash and cabbage. I always sin my gravy as I think it's well worth it. It was really gorgeous. Vets tonight, so it will be a quick pasta.

    Good luck everyone today:T

Well done to those who lost today:T

As you all probably know I have been a bit 'off' this week, well I WI this morn and have gained 1lb....I'm quite pleased with that really, I thought it would be much worse.

I am going to do a green week this week as I always seem to mess up the red days:confused:

A pound is nothing, Mel, considering how you've been feeling. You could have gone completely off the rails. So well done:T and good luck for this week:beer: xxx
