Hello all, I have been lurking for the last few weeks... thanks for all your help, tips and support you've unknowingly given!:T
I joined SW 10 weeks ago and I've lost 1st 1lb so far. I was really pleased to be able to buy some new jeans two sizes smaller, but didn't feel quite so good in the swimming pool this afternoon. Pot belly and bulging thighs are still an issue!
I was prompted to post since a couple of people were talking about eating out and I had a lovely meal at a restaurant last week. It was tuna nicoise salad with boiled egg, French beans, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes etc and the dressing was on the side - brilliant for a red day! Shame I had the huge tray of cold meats as a starter (salami, parma ham, olives), but we'll gloss over that bit! Also I had some vodka and chocolate when I got home, but we'll carry on glossing - well, it was a rare night out!
I was hoping for a 2lb loss at my WI on Monday, but I'll settle for a 1lb!0 -

Morning everyone.
Hope your all doing ok.
My WI is tommorow, and im hoping for a 1lb loss to get me my half stone sticker.
Iv been really good all week, no alchol, no chocolate. I have had all green days apart from a red day yesterday, myself and dh who is following the plan with me for support find we can eat more of what we like on a green day.
But yesterdays red menu went-
Brekie-Bacon, eggs and toast (hob)
Lunch-Large meat and fish salad-Cottage cheese,lettuce,cucumber,celery,tomatoes,pork,ham,tuna.
Tea-Extra large steak, 198g new potaoes in their skins(hob) with cauil and brocili, and some chicken bovril stock as a replacment for gravy.
Snacks-Bananas,apples,mullerlights.
Have to say the salad was the first one iv had since on the diet, and i so enjoyed it, i will be adding it as a weekly meal to the meal plan.
Today we are having a green day, and are having eggs on toast (hob) for breakie, a mug shot and fruit for a light lunch, then later jacket spuds with cottage cheese, quorn filets and grilled tomatoes.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,
Its going to be a green day, brekkie has been, baked beans, mushrooms, egg and toast (heb).
I have pasta and sweetcorn in fridge left over from yesterday, may pop some toms, and cucumber in there for lunch, maybe jacket for tea although not sure what to have with it, any ideas??
I am going to try and not eat anything at all unhealthy between now and thurs (not even things I can syn) will see if that can help me.
I have to go to the hospital tommorrow and hope that I can get a better frame of mind after I have been, I tend to eat when I am worried, anxious, sad, think the term is comfort!
Hope you all have a good day x:j :j :j:A0 -
oh my god,boy o boy does it hurt!was it worth it?hell, yeah!and the best news about being so dehydrated is that i appear to have lost about 3 lbs overnight.i know it's only temporary, etc but it's first time my scales have registered under 11 stone for about 6 weeks so i'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts(til i get to macdonalds i reckon)!don't know what day i'm having at the moment as i only have unwashed veg and a massive tub of feta in my fridge at the mo,and some cooked chicken legs.going to town in a bit so will grab something then.no not macdonalds, can't stand in walking in the place.okey dokey, kfc it is then!;) only joking but i am starving.made the mistake of noy eating anything else before i went out, didn't even have the noodles as a heb in the end,too busy on the laptop then had to get ready, etc.did have some tuna when i got home and a couple of spare ribs(meat only,so not a lot really!)but was on a red day anyway so quite impressed with myself overall:j .think i used about 30 syns on alcohol and didn't munch any crisps or anything so maybe my weight loss is real?!?then again......:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T
:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p
Was 11 st 5,now 10 st 7,would like to be....9 stone0 -
Morning all,
I have to go to the hospital tommorrow and hope that I can get a better frame of mind after I have been, I tend to eat when I am worried, anxious, sad, think the term is comfort!
I've been going through quite a lot of hospital stuff for a long time with my OH, choccie, and it will continue for some months, so my sympathies:grouphug:. I tend to reach for comfort food too when we get bad news. It's really hard not to. Hugs from me xxxx:smileyheagpuss0 -

WI tomorrow, so I will try to be good today, although we are having a big sunday dinner in a couple of hours. I will have mainly veg and SW roasties, just a bit of chicken on the side and will stick to only 1-2 yorkshire puds;)
Good luck everyone with today and welcome to any newcomers.

Hi Everyone, popping in to catch up. Last night was very good in the end - lots of meat, no potatoes or bread and only moderate amounts of wine (but it was really nice stuff too). So today I've had a croissant (no idea how many syns but not good I think) lean lamb steak and french beans - yum. Kids want to do HM pizza for tea so think I'll have some soup instead,
Have a lovely Sunday,
