ditz when im on a red day i usually have a healthy full english breakfast, and if i feel the need to snack i have sliced ham or fruit. hope this kinda helps.
That's cool at the weekend, but I struggle enough to get up for work at the best of times. I eat a hifi bar and a banana on the train for breakfast!!

if you like minced beef or stewed steak (tinned princes) its really nice over veg.
Oooo, may have to try that...

My speedy dinner for red days are homemade burgers.
(Half a chopped onion, a teaspoon of sugarfree mint sauce, and half a small packet of minced extralean lamb, all mixed up with a few mixed herbs and a beaten egg - then dolloped onto the george foreman grill)
Served with fine beans and curly kale (with nutmeg).

    Oooohh, another recipe...

Am currently munching on SW sausage rolls (a recipe I got from a tasting session at group this week)

2 slices of wholemeal bread (from 400g loaf - HE B)
2 dairylea light triangles (HE A)
    2 Quorn sausages

Roll bread under rolling pin till flat. Spread dairylea on bread. Roll sausages into dairylea covered bread. Put onto baking tray squirted with frylight and bake for 20 mins at about 200 degrees.

    Yum!!

    well done hels.

it depends really on wether you like green or red days?

if you like red think about meat type meals or if you like green pick up some carbs.

jacket potato and beans is free on a green day only

meat and veg free (low syn for gravy) not all veg on a reg day - no peas, sweetcorn, parsnips or potatos

i am curently into smash quorn sausages and beans on a red day. Only the`quorn sausagesd are free on a red day. beans are a HEB on a red and have to be weighed, smash is synned

f you go to the slimming world website im sure they have starter info.

    Sorry to confuse you!

  • Had WI tonight and i thought this week had not gone well, not from ever eating (although I did have choc brownies with clotted cream icecream yesterday) but from not eating all the right things and then not eating enough. However at WI i discovered I had lost 2 pound, yay, 19 in total!
So glad to get it shifting again, so easy to get stuck eating the same things all the time & so the d**t stops working!
Hope you all had a lovely easter!
