Just don't think its the right time to move. You wouldn't believe how much I hate my current place (the company and the mentality there) sometimes but I love the job itself. Decisions, decisions!0

Your right Mel I must be mad giving up at this time of year but I guessed it would be a good test, especially as Dh has presented me with a lovely cadburys egg in a tin, I am going to keep it for a special reward once I have stuck to my plan, does that sound sensible?
Sorry to hear about your confusion over work Catt, thinking of you as I have been i my present job for 9years and often think about moving but I would be a complete wreck!:j :j :j:A0 -

Hi everyone.
Im back from a few nights away at the inlaws, and i think iv done ok, only 29 syns used over 2 days, and i had a few vodkas and a small piece of cream cake at that too.
Have to say i loved my first roast dinner we had today, had loads more veg than normal and had the meat as a HOb, tommorow is my first red day, i am having bacon, sauasge and eggs for breakie, steak and prawns with a jacket spud for dinner(hob) and then ham and tuna salad for tea.
Thought id try a red day, as it will give me something other than chocolate to focus on!!!
How sad am i  , away in bristol and on my fatherin law com .
well this will make you laugh skin-catt , i had a letter not from my consultant, but a consultant who is running it while my consultant is away and she sent me a letter enviting me to her class free of charge , and saying she is one week away from being a gold consultant, that she has meet me and would love me to come to her class:) , well what dose that say to you0 -
Hi:hello:
Time for a diet - again - darn it!!!
Theres not much to lose - about 8-12 lbs at a guess (the scales might tell me different when I get on them tomorrow - after quite a long break).
I've followed the Slimming World Green Plan before now when I've dieted a couple of times before and it does work for me - but a bit has crept back on again despite the fact that I eat in a vegetarian wholefood sort of way (cant understand that- but it may just have a little to do with the consolatory glass of wine or two after a day at w**k sometimes
).
This time - to make it easier for myself I thought I'd follow best O.S. principles and make out a 4 week meal plan for myself - but its worth an ask first if anyone else who also eats in a veggie/wholefood sort of way has worked one out (even a one week one would help). I have to bear in mind that I take a packed lunch to w**k 5 days a week and have a fair-sized (okay - large) appetite and I dont want to have to spend that long cooking Mon-Fri after a day at w**k.
I chose the Slimming World Green Plan before basically because its the only one I have come across where I dont feel hungry - with all the free foods I can have (potatoes/pasta/bananas/beans/rice/cereals - healthy type) of the "filling" variety.
So - if anyone who eats the same way does have such a meal plan then I would very much appreciate them sharing it.
I have the following Slimming World cookbooks:
Fast Food
Light Bites
30 minute meals
Free foods
Curry Feast
50 best ever recipes
125 Green recipes.
(PS: I'm not interested in spending any of my "Sins" on puddings/cakes/biscuits - I'd rather keep them all for other things.)0 -
I've completely blown it this week
Had donuts and chinese last night as was on my own - OH had a gig - and fancied something 'nice'. If I don't put onthis week I'll be amazed

Don't worry skint_catt, we all have days when we fancy a but of something that we shouldn't, if we don't have a treat once in a while i'm sure we would get fed up. Just keep going,. you can do it.0

Well I stopped at the new Aldi near me yesterday before I went to Tesco - I now have enough fruit to feed an Army - and its all on my worktop where I can see it a) because the fridge is full and b) so if I see it I will eat it! :rotfl: fingers crossed.0

You can do it especially with all that fruit in view, try to have the ss foods, strawberries etc and load of free food for tea0
