Sometimes if you re-wash them the pink will start to come out? Not much use I know but might help?.Sometimes.I.Wonder.Why.I'm.Still.Here..Sometimes.I.Think.I'm.Going.Crazy.0

Hi jamgirl,
There's an earlier thread with lots of advice that should help so I'll add your thread to it so that you can browse the solutions.

I have tried to search this but couldn't find anything.
My son has a pyjama top with navy body and white sleeves and dh has put it in the wash with the dark stuff including his black jeans which always run.
So we now have dingy grey sleeves . Any ideas on how to make them white again without the expense of a colour run remover?
Thanks:hello:0 -
No, dont think you can do anything else but colour run remover, they are in supermarkets for only a pound or so.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Didn't realise they were so cheap. Looks like I will be popping out tomorrow then.
I take it I can just dry the item before I rewash it with the stuff tomorrow?:hello:0 -
yes, it should be okay,
good luck.
(been there, done that) :rotfl::rotfl:
Tip, keep another one under the sink because you will do it again with something else.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

It's on the radiator now then thanks ready for tomorrow.
I would never do this (fingers crossed and all that) it was dh!!:hello:0 -
I bought a beautiful embroided dress earlier this week and it was both stained an a bit musty. I was handwashing it, not to attack stains (which are on hem so plan to shorten) but for the must.
Washed in warm not hot sink, with delicate liquid and the colour has run from the highly coloured embroidery to the white cotton background....
what now for damage limitation...any chaance of getting the colour of the white
I haven't even finished rinsing before running to you guys....I'm sure someone here will know what to do for the best. It is now hanging wet in my shower.0 -
I have searched this forum as I had a top which was grey, black and white
It ended up in washing machine and the white is now pale blue - if I buy the colour remover will it take this out and can I buy any brand?
This was a week ago now and I just want to get the blue back to white if it is possible.
