McKneff, thank you! I was afraid I will have to spend my evening washing now :-)
Oh, men.. they need clear instructions for everything. I told him to separate white from colored.. Could never imagine thta light pink he will classify as colored :-)

in fairness, light pink is NOT white!
If you only told him to separate into white & coloured he did exactly the right thing. You'd have been upset if your whites had ended up light pink because he decided to wash it with them instead wouldn't you? Next time you need to be far more specific with your instructions!

As for getting the marks out, it all depends what they are - I find vanish is pretty wonderful stuff!!

All my light coloureds go in with the whites.

I split mine, light coloured (incl. whites) and dark coloured

If the OP had said 'dont put that pink t shirt in with the black things then the OH would have said 'do you think i'm stupid'

You dont really have to specifically tell someone not to put light pink in a dark wash surely.

I'd have to tell my husband. In writing, I suspect. Even then he'd probably forget, or think it was just me being a bit fussy.

You have a very sweet nature - I'd have gone ballistic. (Probably something to do with having auburn hair and being a Scorpio to boot). :rotfl:
