Morning all.
hugs and thoughts to smokeybabe.
All well here, hubby still searching the internet for work obviously keeps him too busy to see the wm needs emptying/filling, also the td etc etc bless!! House was a mess when I got back last night from London but is no better now! I've suggested he organises tea for everyone as I'll only be in about 3/4 of an hour before going out again (mum's taxi service!) so hopefully he'll find something really is just for me and him tonight.
Hope you all have great days
HUgs to all who need/want them xxx0 -
Back again
Happy Birthday Poppet
Have just sent off my CV for a part time job ive seen advertised. A few hours in a office each week then some work at home. Think loads of people will go for it as the hours are perfect for most mums but we will see, am excited and nervous in equal doses. I did my cv this morning - did have one but I must have lost it years ago, last time I worked outside the home was 8 years ago but it doesnt feel that long at all.
Really need to go and get dressed, will have a coffee first then will def shift my bum.0 -
I feel guilty for moaning about my dull day yesterday. Smoky's predicament sure puts things into perspective. Roll on another dull day, better than what lots have to put up with.
For once I relish the thought of pottering round my house and garden, rejoice in the fact that we are all relatively healthy for now."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Morning all - late start for me as I've lost the will to live temporarily - I,ve just sent dd off to school and will hop on my bike to w*rk but I foolishly asked her how she is getting on with learning to read music. There followed a 15 minute lecture on exactly what notes went there and what fingers are involved in all the minor chords - thankfully there were no slides or powerpoint presentation but still .......
I have a red card from the post office so will try to pick that up tonight - no idea what that can be but it's too big rather than recorded so shouldn't be anyting nasty.
have a good day
HJ - will pm you laterI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Good morning everyone
Happy Birthday to poppett.
Smokybabe (((hugs))) to you and your family. I don't know what else I can say.
I have read the thread but, sorry, can't remember much else.
I haven't posted for a while so have no idea what's going on but Congratulations or Commiserations, where appropriate.
Time seems to be against me these days. I have even received e-mails from friends asking if I have fallen out with them as they haven't heard from me in so long.
It's been stressful too as my fixed rate mortgage ends on 31st March and I was panicking about finding another. It was all resolved yesterday and my mortgage only increases by £16 pm when I had thought I would be paying at least another £50!!!:j :j
DS, DD and I are off to Scotland tomorrow as my parents birthdays fall within 2 weeks of each other. So, we are having a weekend of celebrations for them. While I'm up there, I'm going into Glasgow to get a bra fitting at Bravissimo. :j I know that I am definitely not wearing the right size so will be relieved to get a good bra that fits properly.
Off to w**k now. Have a thrilling Thursday one and all. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Good luck Miss Catz. x
Morning :hello:
Reasonably organised this morning and girls are off to school after trying very hard not to go. Then i reminded them that I am helping out at the school this morning and they made a miraculous recovery.
Need to be at the school for 11am and have a meeting with the printers at 1.30. Also need to pop to a card shop, the butcher and lidl for some fruit.
Tea will be pizza for the girls and chilli for us.
Have a good day all.
