    Yes.
    :)
I like it, but I wouldn't like the area just in that it is a large/good property seemingly squidged into the back end of rows of terraces.

It's what they might call a "hidden gem" I guess.

Unique property but I don't know who the intended market is meant to be. 5 bedrooms but only one bathroom and a courtyard rather than a garden means that families won't be interested.

this is the sad side of the market. i hope she has or does get out of this with the shirt still on her back...
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

It looks very much like a pub rather than a home - especially the beer garden area.

A quick google showed it was up for auction with a guide price of £315,000 which doesn't look good.

Oh ... I never bothered to google it.

    lnkplz!

Which, for those not into lolcats, means: link please

No need... found it. On with propertyfinder... and others.

Seems to have been removed though.
I kept getting as far as finding out it's with Choices auctions (west mids office). But no auction date... grr

This thread started with a quick sale company saying it was worth £290k (they'd have given her £220k) so in the absence of a sale, I guess any port in a storm and all that. Unless withdrawn, it has to do better than £220k!

Being its now been found I see no harm on posting the link (and if I can find it with no prior information using rightmove and propertysnake, I'm sure anyone can).

LISAW if you want me to remove the link let me know.

That is pretty much my dream home. I'd give anything to live there except, unfortunately, 340k because I haven't got it!

Hopefully there is someone richer out there who will feel the same way.

Excuse the completely pointless post! I will go off and daydream about lottery wins for a while...
