Is it my imagination or have the quantity of mushrooms gone down, but the price is the same as the bigger box?
The quality seems a touch better though, so can't complain I guess.
Fear not - the mushroom pack has shrunk to 400g from (IIRC) 750g but the price has also shrunk from £1.46 to 89p. The previous size was way too big for us so we ended up wasting some.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
I tried the sainsburys basics cooked chicken breast - awful, very watery. gave it to the dog.0

Not Basics, but Sainsbury's unsalted fruit and nuts, dark blue packet, under 70p and very good. Loads of pecans, almonds and hazelnuts which are normally v. expensive, not just crammed with peanuts and raisins.0

They are however leaving in a couple of hundred grams of unusable compost covered roots to bump up the weight.0 -
I tried the tea bags today and they are quite nice. Not really on the same level as Twinings but are fine for most of the day.Debt as of 02/02/2012

Stumbled across this today. It just goes to show eating the budget brand is no less healthy that the expensive brands - the Sainsbury's brand was recommended numerous times which should encourage some sceptics =DDebt as of 02/02/2012
