Basics Sweetcorn is happily eaten by the carp and tench at the nearest fishery. Haven't thought of dipping it in tinned peach juice before, but going fishing tomorrow. Slightly off topic, but, can you help?
I am ordering from Sainsburys online for the first time ever, now I can't pay for the stuff until Monday, so if I order the stuff today and put Monday delivery down, does the money go out today or on the deliver dayAlso, can I keep a running shopping list going, say for instance I start shopping online now, can I leave it open all day and just add bits to it as I think of them over the weekend, before I press the sumbit button?

In answer to your first question, the money doesn't come out of my account until the delivery day.
Sorry I don't know the answer to your second question as I've never shopped that way before. However, I do know that if you use MySupermarket you can add to it that way. You can only hold your delivery slot for 3 hours though, so you'll have to decide how important securing your slot is to you.0 -

This is also slightly off-topic but also very moneysaving! Don't just search out the Basics items at Sainsbury's, keep your eye out for bargains on the deli and fresh fish section. My local one often has offers on produce not selling quick enough! I recently got some delicious smoked ham with a third off and, better still, some fish pie mix reduced from £9.50 per kilo to £4.00 per kilo - meaning I got enough fish for an enormous fish pie for £2.60! Don't know if this is a nationwide thing or down to each individual store manager."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Slighty off topic.
When you order your stuff online with Sainsbury's do you also usually get the same offers/bogoffs etc that you get in store?

Yep, as long as your delivery time is within the time the offer is on! It isn't much different than shopping instore, except you don't get the reduced stuff"Live each day as if it were your last and garden as though you will live forever"

Is it my imagination or have the quantity of mushrooms gone down, but the price is the same as the bigger box?
The quality seems a touch better though, so can't complain I guess."Live each day as if it were your last and garden as though you will live forever"
