basics mayonnaise is fine and dandy. Not actually tasted it on its own (I never do with any mayonnaise) but it makes a very cheap tuna mayonnaise when mixed with the basics line caught tuna (60p). 41p for a 470ml jar. Approx 75% cost less than Hellman's...and less than half its fat content, shockingly.

freebie I had some of these type from Tesco - was a bit disappointed. tasted ok but not very fishy and were grey inside so I doubt ppl will get away with giving them to kids unless they are the type to smother them in ketchup. One of them actually had a grey brown thingy running down the middle inside which was inedible.

Very disappointed by them. Bought them cos they were the only battered fish to come in packs of only 2 in our Mr T.This was my first taste of pollock which I had always heard was just as good as cod and a more sustainable alternative.

I'm with you on the 28p teabags. I drink tea nonstop all day, and these are totally fine, better than Tetley's one cup . I am sick now at the thought of how much money I spent on tea in the past... :(

I've been reading in the paper today that the price of tea is set to rocket due to the failure of crops in the tea-producing regions. I know I shouldn't be encouraging anyone to do this but I stocked up on the 28p tea bags on my last shop. :o OK, I got 10 boxes :o For less than £3. For fairtrade tea bags :D. Crazy.
