Quick question for you experienced Sainsburys online shoppers; If I order £100 and have it delivered on a certain day I believe delivery is FOC? If I don't have substitutes and some of the stuff is OOS thereby taking the order down below £100...will Sainsburys then charge for delivering the order? TIA!Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
The Basics Mince Beef & Onions in Gravy at 47p is a more affordable meal for my dog, & he loves it.
He would only eat premium range Pal & this stuff is around 20p cheaper. He also likes the Meatballs in Tomato Sauce at 37p too.0 -
Blackbelle, you said the apples were small and tasteless, were they the ones in the packets or loose apples? I bought the Basics loose apples and they're really nice.0

Like most supermarkets' basics/value range of fruit and veg the varieties vary throughout the season. They obviously use the variety with the biggest glut/ cheapest kind at the time and so the apples Blackbelle had might have been a different variety to those Sol00 had.
It's only a game

Shower gel is a bargain at 10p :T It smells nice too (unlike Tesco value shower gel, which smells like disinfectant).0

Oh, and for bad, I'd say the tonic water (for those gin and vodka lovers amongst us) - definite taste difference between the basics and own brand.0

Hello, they were the basics apples in the bag - I didn't realise they came loose also - if I spot them I'll give them a go - thanks. Also I only bought the bagged ones once - I could have just been unlucky and bought a bad bag.

They have Laphroaig Quarter Cask single malt on offer at £21. Strength is 48% instead of usual 40% for the 10year old.:j
Sorry, posted in wrong thread (although malt whisky is a basic for me!). Will moderator please move to correct thread?0 -

The loose Basic apples tend to be Jonagold apples which are a red dessert apple. The variety of apple in the basic bagged range changes quite often so always check the variety. When i bought some the other day they were UK grown Braeburn apples and very nice as wellOne day you are the bird and the next you are the statue, but everyday you should try to do something you love0
