Sainsbury's Basics good/bad items

Today the yoghurts were 40p and fromage frais was 45p...

i noticed that about the yoghurts. my hubby and eldest son love them. i always have loads in. loved the fact they dropped to 15p. but now shot up to 40p. why is it basics products seem to jump all over the place in prices. other lines dont seem to as much. they still good value at 40p. but prefered 15p,lol.

Bought basics cereal bars this week, perfectly edible will buy these in future.

And they've also cut the flavours in the Basics yogurts: Previously, there was 1 strawberry, 1 peach, 1 raspberry and 1 cherry. Now 2 x strawberry and 2 x peach! Higher price for less variety...

Are you talking about the same product? We only ever had 2 strawberry/ 2 peach.

I think its the T3sco value ones that have 4 flavours. Sa!nsburys have ony had 2x 2flavours in the Basics range for as long as I can remember...

Nope, I'm 100% certain that a few months ago there was 1 of each flavour of yogurt in the packs of 4 sainsbury's basics yogurts...please someome back me up on this!!

Maybe you're right, thinking about it , but I can't remember when they made the switch.

Basics white cheese can be cheapest but Basics Cheddar is almost always more expensive than one of their "on offer" cheeses.
At the moment Basics mild is £5.12 and full flavour £5.98/kilo, it rarely goes below those prices.
