Morning all, I had a lovely lie in as the kids were playing quietly in their room. Unfortunatley it hasn't lasted and they are now trying to kill each other.

I've tidied, put washing on and got mince out for tea tonight. Just got to take the kids to their afternoon activities and buy one last present for dh's birthday on Saturday. He's decided that he wants to see Willy Wonka so it will actually be a cheap night out.

Baby will come when he/she is ready Lillibet. You can't hurry mother nature :D

I haven't been around much lately, been too busy keeping MrW occupied while he was on holiday from work. We managed to get quite a lot done, loads of clearing out of junk etc. which had been in the garage since we moved here more than two years ago. Our council has started sending a huge lorry round to collect almost anything for recycling, it was so funny, we live in a small cul-de-sac and all the neighbours were throwing out their junk and then looking to see what everyone else had thrown away. Don't know how often the lorry will come but it's a great idea.
We were really pleased when we took some stuff to the tip, the man in charge collects all the decent things and you can take them away if you want. Anyway we saw two young men who didn't speak much English but explained that they were refugees and wanted things for their flat. They were delighted when we gave them our old Dyson which although it sucked the dirt out, the brushes didn't go round. They also took my old bread maker which works OK but I don't know how they'll manage without the instruction book. Nice to see our junk being out to good use.
I'm catching up with washing today and still painting the hall.
Hugs and good luck to all who need them and Lillibet, hurry up and have that baby, I feel excited for you.

    Hi everyone!

Have had a lazy morning so far, house feels so quiet and empty now my youngest has moved out and I'm feeling a bit lost. Probably explains the long distance motherly concern I've been sending Lillibet recently:D sorry hun! ((((HUG)))) Hope spud turns up soon.

It was such a whirlwind having dd here and helping her pack that I almost forgot what it was like to have time on my own! I still have plans to take over her room for my sewing/quilting and cardmaking projects, so will soon be my busy self again. And of course school starts up again in 4 weeks time so back to work for me .

BTW I am about to disappear from the site and may be gone for some time. I have to finish the first module of my Life Coaching certificate and I'm having to combine that with the children being on holiday.

So no search party needed for now :D

Im Back! Well, boyf didnt have an interview today, they refused to interview him without his passport even though id given him loads of ID - so when he came back out I told him "for the love of God, will you PLEASE go to your parents and get EVERYTHING you own that is useful - You dont LIVE there anymore!!". I then gave lots of hugs and told him he was beautiful - cue big grin from him and "thats better, I wanted sympathy...."

Needless to say - he's already driving there! To all parents of boys - please teach them how to look after themselves!

Anyway, all is not lost, theyve rescheduled - and he managed to get a couple of other appointments for tomorrow so he shouldnt get thrown out of the door because he neglected to bring a passport.... Talk about the Govt making it difficult - although I appreciate the need for checks, it isnt half a pain....

Anyway - back home now, went via blockbuster on the way home and got 3 movies for £5 for a week - and two of them were those 'two movies on one disc' so I now have 5 to watch while I wait for tedium of employers taking years to contact me about jobs.

Also visited Bristol Cathedral this morning, boyf had never been there and as its free entry, I dragged him in (made a £2 donation though!) and he really enjoyed it, and ended up having a long discussion about the burial vault things with ancient military men in them, and what certain positions mean (like crossed legs means died in battle or some such way). I have no idea what its called, but I know what im talking about in my head!!

Anyway, im exhausted, I have to do a few emails then I may well take a nap. Hope you are all having a lovely day, Good luck with the Life coaching Moggins (teach me too? I need help!!), Good luck on the impending Spud Lillibet (bet you cant wait now!), and good luck with the job hunt Ancasta - I know how you feel, such a nightmare!

Ohhhhh - Nearly forgot - I saw a Wally Trolley been dragged around by a young person today, the first ive seen since about 1986 - I definately want one now!
