    Hi

Catowen Congratulations to your DD for getting his chosen school.

Unfortunately we still haven't had DD1's letter yet. Some of her friends found out by mistake yesterday and we're still waiting. Typical of Liverpool Education Authority to muck it up. This year they've employed TNT to deliver the letters, which should have all been sent out yesterday, but they 'accidently' sent out 900 letters on Friday and so some of the kids already knew on Monday and others, like my DD1 might find out on Wednesday, if she's lucky!

Today I helped out at the church drop-in and then had 2 fillings at the dentist. Actually it wasn't too bad and hopefully they will last a few years.
I did some planning for school and sunday school and I've made cakes with DD2 as DD1 is at her friend's house. We're having a fry-up for tea as I bought some black pudding and I'm desperate to eat it. I'm the only one in the house who will eat it so all the more for me!:D
I'm not in work tomorrow so the plan is to give the house a good clean.
    Have a good evening.

    Hi all
I've finally spoken to ds2's head of year the boy concerned has an hours detention with the head of year tomorrow which is a serious punishment he has spoken to the boy's parents and if he put's a foot wrong again he will either be excluded internally which means he is on his own all the time with just a supervisor or they will exclude him from school completely so the boy has been dealt with and the head of year hasn't dismissed getting the schools police liason officer involved
so at least something was done and ds2 and I are pleased he has been dealt with
    pam xx

    What a nightmare!!

A boy at our local secondary got asked to leave after getting into fights etc etc with everyone and he was already being seen/taught in isolation! It was a nightmare for my friends child going to school for a while but things are so much better now.

Wishing you and yourDs all the best:A

    Good evening

Hope Smoky is OK and that DH stable. Glad we have heard from Aussie (I think the modem story a bit suspect!), glad to hear about offspring getting into school, sorry about the bullying but Mrs M a match for anyone I think!
Aussie - I had to enter my favourite place to get my [strike]wallpaper[/strike] stripper down last night!

Was sooooooooo busy at work today because that is me now off until Monday. Kitchen stuff should be delivered tomorrow and then I bail out on Thursday. Cooker collected today. I will post before and after pics on This is Where the Magic Happens thread.

Have offered to be Granny helper at DGS1 nursery on Friday (couldn't do it last time as he was so sick in the night) - I must be mad! DGS2 screaming every day it is playgroup and it is really stressing DD out. She will just have to persevere as not good to give in to him!

Decided not to do anything tonight as I am so tired. I didn't realise how stressing it is to have the kitchen done.

Will post before and after piccies on the Magic thread!

Love and hugs to you all.

Oh my goodness - I have got the [STRIKE]stripper[/STRIKE] steamer going again as must get some more of these awful vinyl tiles up. Just hope fitter doesn't phone tonight to say no news is good news. He got the blank cheque last week so assuming we are on a green light!

No sewing this afternoon, just did not make it into the sewing room, so tomorrow has got to be sewing afternoon...I hope o get to Aldi....we are out of white wine and only one bottle of red left....8 weeks till we get to go to France.

OH was trawling the web the other night and discovered that the chap, he and his ex wife used to host at twinning do's had died last year, I have composed a letter....in french...... to send to his daughter. I hope I have not made an awful grammatical errors:eek:
