    Hello everybody,

At the party while I was on the roof wetting it I fell off. :D No just kidding.

Thanks for noticing me missing.:A I was really surprised you did seeing as I'm quite shy, demure & retiring. :D My modem is playing up. Luckily it's still on warranty and I"m told the replacement is getting posted tomorrow. I hope so. This is the first time I've been able to come on since Sunday night. I'm suffering really, really bad. :D Big hugs for me. :p

On the plus side I've done so much work the last two days in the house. :D But I've missed you all. I haven't read the last few days thread so <hugs> to those that need them. If I go MIA again you'll know it's given up the ghost completely. I hope that's not one of those aussie only sayings. If it is well you'll just have to guess. :p

Hope you all have a great day. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    :hello:

    [strike]
Yeah, yeah, the old "my modem's knackered" story  If I say that maybe no one will ever find out that I got pie eyed at the party, took a swing at my neighbour and spent 2 days in Kookaburra prison. [/strike] Good to see you back. :D

We all noticed you missing except Churchie whose poor addled brain means that she's completely forgotten who you are.

That does mean something else here. And very rude it is too. I'm shocked, really I am.

PS... Churchie here's a wee reminder of who Aussie is..... IN her younger days and more recently. :D

Haribo just sent me a picture of her & the quilt she's making. I can't believe how much you've done since I've not been able to post. :D

Morning all...........(((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) if you need one.......

Not read the thread yet, out to the allotment to take the cloches that arrived yesterday and take some book back to the library.

Nice morning, but bbbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr its cold........

Wait for it a GGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR coming up.

I have an internet account with ING, I contacted them to change our address and they tell me that they have sent a letter, containing all our info to our old address.........how daft is that???????????????????? gggggggggggrrrrrrrrr. I just hope our on the ball postie sees it and re-directs it for us. She dleivers to our old address as well as to here and is very good at re-directing stuff. We no longer get much 'important mail 'from there its usually mostly junk........

The men are here putting the new bathtaps on....its only 11 months since they were ordered.......all we need now is for the council to tell us we are getting a wet room!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess thats the way councils work, the taps will be chucked out when the bath comes out....what a waste.........and its our council tax which has gone up by just a smidge under the 5% where they would be capped.

Nothing really planned for today except clean the bathroom when the chaps have finished...might get some sewing done after lunch, have another table centre to finish. Oh forgot I have the ironing to do from the weekend, so will tackle that in a mo, then I can put the ironing board in the bedroom for later......

    Coffee just arrived....................cheers................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
  • Morning all, just typed a nice long reply and then lost it because i took too long - my cousin rang whilst i was typing and i got distracted lol

(((hugs))) to anyone who needs them, hope things are improving for Smoky's DH.
Congrats to those whose kiddies got into their chosen school :)

Just got back from taking OH to the station, i nipped to the retail park after i'd dropped him off to get a birthday pressie for my grandad, he's 75 later this week and also a 'Ben 10' watch for DD for Easter - theres no chance i'm getting her chocolate with the amount of family, friends, neighbours etc who buy eggs for her! Also nipped into the Mamas and Papas shop and had a play with my pram, not buying it from them though, is loads cheaper online and also buying the carrycot and chassis from different sites is saving ££'s

Its my birthday next week so i'm going up to Glasgow for 2 days with OH, he'll be working but i can wander around the shops and the hotel has a pool etc so i can amuse myself. Will be nice to have some time together just for us, we can eat out, have a proper natter etc :) My mam is having DD and i'll just ignore jellybean if he kicks during 'couple' time ;) lol

Got to clean my oven today, didn't notice how grubby it'd got *shame*. Also gonna put the washing out in a minute unless i get distracted on here!

    B - cereal, juice, tea
    D - Leftover shepherds pie
T - Jacket potatoes, beans and cheese

    Have a good day all

    I've been Money Tipped!
Ahh! Alls well on Old style! :D Aussie and Haribo back to normal!;) you sure were missed around here!

I am totally knackered as while returning from a walk with Penny, I had to chase after the bin men, I had forgot to put out the bin again!:o

Washing drying and ironing pile is huge so i will have to tackle that in a moment with one of my bargain vhs films to watch - Jerry Maguire I think

    Hi all !
Woke up to a sprinkling of snow that thankfully has now gone. Blue skies and sunshine but bitterly cold.
Thankfully Mums Mothers Day card arrived yesterday...........can't believe I got so upset on Sunday because it hadn't -not that she's very aware of it. She seems to think my brother is there but he's still sunning himself in spain !
Todays plan was to give a little cupboard the shabby chic treatment but having measured it,it won't fit where I wanted it to go so I'll have to have a total re-think before I decide what colour paint to slap on it.
So, instead I've re-arranged a few pictures, decanted some freebie bubble bath into Olive Oil bottles (everyones having some cheap for presents this year.............lol)
Got a jar of pebbles.................not quite sure what to do with them. They stood on a much cluttered cupboard that I've now got rid of. Can''t part with them (don't ask why) but they look a bit silly in a jar stood on the floor..........sort of 'in transit'..................I'll find somewhere for them if I think hard enough (ouch !!!!!!!! my brain !!!!! )

Have a good day all and hugs ((((((((((((((((((:o ))))))))))))to all those who need them
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

LINDSEYANN - what lovely words. Yes, this is a great thread - I'm so glad I found it. I first posted hear about a year ago and I don't think I introduced myself, either. I just sort of gatecrashed, really, but everyone made me welcome right from the start and I feel I've made some very good friends. Please don't feel you waffle and don't apologise. Lots of love to your new nephew and his mum and dad? Has he been named, yet?
